Good afternoon all.  A beautiful day outside (at least that is w hat Mary told me).

Now that my baseball drafts are over, I guess I need to start reading again.  Gonna try to get my reading going again especially since I am about ready to buy my Nook.

Not much else here.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Prayer requests are listed below:

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

PEOPLE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT: Pray not just for employment, but also that they adjust to the stress the lack of employment brings.

Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids.  They lost the parental rights to the children, but the decision is under appeal.

Kat (Iwannabethinnow) requests prayer for her friend with breast cancer.

Kim (tennysonkw) wants prayer that she will be a better example to her children in the future, and that God will grant her strength to endure, as her and her husband go through a divorce.  Also, that lonely feelings she is having pass.

Kim G.'s brother lost everything he owned in an apartment fire.  There were 8 families who were displaced by this fire.

Michelle S. - Prayers for her Unlce Paul who is apparently in the final stages of Alzheimers.  He is now in the hospice area of the VA Hospital.  Also pray for her father, who is Uncle Paul's only surviving sibling.  He is having a tough time.  Mark's grandmother is almost 101.  She has congestive heart failure.  And Michelle's mother has been diagnosed with cancer.

Thank you guys for adding my brother and his family to the list... It will take a while to recoup and recover, but they are handling it surprisingly well. I've already gotten together a good amount of clothes for my neice, so she isn't having to toddle around naked! LOL.

Love you guys! Prayers for all who need them!

It would probably help if I did look at a Calendar or the tickets themselves, huh?  LOL

Hi George! You can take Stephanie and Annabella off the prayer list, they are doing fantastic. Stephanie may have to see a surgeon to determine if they want to do anything further regarding wound care though.

I do want to put my great-nephew JJ back on the list. He had brain surgery on the 16th to remove a tumor that was 3.5 inches. He still has one tumor and another on the spine. The tumor was malignant and they should find out today what stage and type the cancer is. He goes for a little more testing today. This is the same baby that lost his 18 year old Mommy in January. He is 4 mos. old! Prayer for my nephew Jason (Jay) as he is going through so much. But he has a fantastic attitude through this all!! Sure a lot on an 18 year olds shoulders!

Thanks for all you do for us!!

hugz,
Gina L
