What on earth is that?????

Two nights ago i woke up with a burning sensation in my pouch/gut...

Yesterday, everything i ate made my stomach hurt, i mean it was like mild contractions...

I tried twice yesterday to eat canned soup....it hurt too badly

Today i can still feel a litlle burning sensation, not too bad, but i havent eaten or drank anything yet.

Im waiting till 9 am to call the MD. but thought ya'll might have experienced or heard of this in the past....

I have no idea.  Calling the doc seems to be the right thing to do.  Are you on an acid blocker?  My doc put me on one to prevent ulcers-just a thought.  Let us know what you find out.

The MD's office called back, she was very thorough in her questions...

I explained that I had eaten a couple of slices of uncooked tomato...i thought maybe the acid may have upset my innerds....

She suggested that i take Prilosec OTC, which i happen to have a sample of...cause im the sample Queen...lol

Im also to do full liquids and she will call me in the am and check on me....she is so good like that.

I sipped on a protien shake and it made me feel like something was clamping down in there...i tried beef broth after the Prilosec and its all good so far....

Maybe it is stomach acid...how knows....?

hopefully it will go away...cause im hungry...
