Ankles

Outside of left calf



I had to BELIEVE in myself to make this journey what it has been.  (And I did make sure the symbol really did mean BELIEVE! LOL)

My tattoo is a big blue sun tramp stamp.
Someday i'll probably get something else on my back to signify my dad, husband and ian.
 

One great thing about a rebellious brother.  He broke our parents' shock barrier on tattoos.  I want 3.  An eagle head/armband on my left arm, a full eagle on my calf, and a wingspread eagle across my back. 

It was great the day I told Jennifer infront of my mom that we should go get tattoos and Mom replied "Let's Go!!!"

Thinking about Eric and Jenny, I was very happy to meet them last weekend. 

When I posted earlier today, I forgot to talk about tats.  My bad.

I don't have any, but...

I'm considering getting  a line of dots several inches in on both my sides (from armpit to hip) and instructions that say "cut here".

I have 6 tats. My first was a butterfly and I later added a flower to it, it's on my right thigh. Then there's a clinging green tree frog on my right breast, a large octopus from left hip to mid thigh, dream catcher around left ankle, Juv. Drum fish on top of right foot. I have several marine based tats planned but $$ usually gets in the way! But I'll have them one day. I'm also a bit more picky about who does them so it will depend on that, too.

I have 4 tiny black dots where they tatooed me for my radiation treatment for breast cancer - they used them to line up the lasers on the machine.  

I never would have discovered it so early if not for WLS, so the surgery has saved my life twice.

I have to keep reminding my husband when he is doing a "tick check" when we are in Arkansas because he tries to pick them off, thinking they are tiny seed ticks. 

Other than that, no tats or plans to get any.

Ohhhhhh....I love tattoos. I have 4 right now but plan to get more. My ultimate reward when I get to my goal weight is to have my whole upper left arm covered in a tattoo.....a full upper sleeve. It will have the number 455 (my starting weight) and represent my journey through this whole process. My other tattoos are

1. Inside of my right ankle -  blue rose with my name under it. It's kind of fading because I never took proper care of it....it's almost 20 yrs old.
2. Outside of my right ankle - black tribal butterfly
3. Outside of my left calf area - purple flower with the quote "Where words fail, music speaks." in the elvish language below it.
4. Inside of left wrist - musical notes.
