Tattoo Thursday

Today is Tattoo Thursday. To dream that you have tattoos, represent individuality and the desire to stand out in a crowd. You want to be unique and different from everybody else, particularly if you do not have any tattoos in real life. I thought that was interesting.

So, do you have any tattos and of what? Or, if you had to get a tattoo (though I can't imagine any situation where you'd be forced to get one, lol) what would it be?

WOOOOOOOHOOOO for March 25th, LOL   It's my birthday,   it's my birthday,   it's my birthday,   it is and was and auspicous day in history!    LOL  Hopefully I'll get some of what I asked for in presents, if the DH was listening, LOL We have court again today, just a formal placement hearing on Violet, but still.... not what I wanted for my birthday, but it's not my decision, sigh.....  
About Tats... don't have one, can't get up the nerve to get one, by DQS has enough for everyone I think, he's got 2 full sleeves, a huge Violet on his neck, a full sock, part of a sock on the other leg, one across his stomach and one around his neck.  If I got one it would be a small Violet on my inner wrist....

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

GOOD MORNING! How is everyone today? I was playing on a dream interpretation website and saw the one about the tattoo dream so I thought it might be an interesting topic. As far as me-I don't have any tattoos. I am way too much of a pain wimp to even try it. If I had to get one I'd probably get a dragonfly because I love them.

Chris has a soccer game tonight at 7:15pm in Colleyville. Hopefully it won't be too muddy. I dropped him off at soccer practice yesterday and made sure the coach wanted to still meet. He said yes. By the time I got 1/2 way home it was raining. Bryan went and got Chris and it was pouring by then.

Good Morning!!! 

I have tattoos!! On my right foot I have Buddha.(represents my spiritual path) Above Buddha's head I have the sign for universal life aka Kanji. (A Reiki symbol) On the side of my right lower leg, I have 2 seahorses and a dolphin. (they represent my 3 children)


On my left foot I have a light house with the bible verse Love is Patient, Love is Kind going across it. (it respresents true love)  On the left side of my leg, I have Chito's thumbprint. (need I say more?)

I plan to get the thumbprints of my mom, my 2 surviving children and my granddaughters around Chito's print.  After that, I'm done!!

What am I waiting for? My mom would murder me if I got one, so I'm waiting until she passes on. At this rate I'll be 110 when I get it!

Hello, everybody.

This is the first time in days I've had a chance to post on the morning train.  DH had a lady at work tell him about her younger sister (in college in OK) who got a blue heeler puppy.  She lives in an apartment with no yard.  A blue heeler is not a "leave alone all day in an apartment" kind of dog, soooo, we've offered to take the puppy.  Don't know if will happen, but I hope so.

We've got a 2 year old blue heeler who can be her big sister and show her how to drive my hubby crazy.  tee hee.

Lots of thunder and lightning rolled through here last night.  Hope everybody did all right on the wet streets.

Good Mornng Alissa and the rest of my TMB family,

Not much to report.  Oh wait I have managed to loose 4 pounds since I have been here but I still feel good.  Will watch it now.  Have not been very hungry,  Hard time sleeping last night even with medication.  Just to much to think about I guess. As far as Tattos..I have none.  If I was to ever get one it would be a rose on my breast.  I dont like pain though.  I suppose if they put me out I could do it, Both the older boys have really nice tattos.  Dan has a Celtic cross on his arm, and Tim has UMC and a chinese symbol that stands for easy going.  Thats how he is though.  Guess that is all for now.  Please continue to pray for my Mom.  Prayers for all in need this morning espically Jenny and Eric.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys,

Good Morning everyone!  Today is "day 2" of training to do the US Census, 1st day was a bit stupid and boring but this too shall pass.
Tattoos.... I have 7 and preparing for 8 & 9.
1st : mushroom on my rt ankle.... I was 18 and it was "cute" it still is "cute" lol
2nd: Gecko on my chest... no comment lol
3rd: tribal butterfly rt calf... started as outline only then got it colored in... love it!
4th: L shoulder tribal butterfly... brother-in-law did this one... I was his "first" tattoo done in his shop when he opened it up (he did the color on the other butterfly)
5th: inner L calf... my children's names in Kanji (see #8 for completion)
6th: R shoulder celtic love knot... transformed the circle portion to hearts to represent my grandmother and grandfather that I was estranged from for many years until I had my children then this way they could never be away from me again. 
7th: low back... Tribal butterfly (who'da thunk it lol) it's also known as a "stamp"... this was my "transformation" butterfly and self awarded prize for my accomplishment on being a loser!

(6 & 7 are post op tats)
pending 8th & 9th: both will be celtic knots... one will be a large ring around my kid's names on my left leg and the other will be a never ending celtic knot between my shoulders (this is to remind me that my life is a "journey" and never ending.)
