Chris, when you do your research on the different surgeries, don't forget to look into DS - come and visit the DS board and ask 'em why they chose that surgery (actually, a good idea to do it on the other surgery boards, too).

I personally know an outstanding lapband doc who does his surgeries out of Wise Regional in Decatur...just sayin'!  He did Chris' and my bands and we can't say enough good things about him.  He looked at Chris and didn't hmmm and haw at all...put his hand on Chris' shoulder and said "I WILL help you!"  "Let's get you healthy."   And damned if all the other docs didn't tell Chris he was too big for WLS and would have to lose A LOT first!

All that being said....VERY VERY proud of you.  I've read those Scout rules and restrictions.  I know that there would be serious limitations on Chris STILL if they did hikes and stuff, but we are working on slimming down still and by the time Brett's age group is doing the serious stuff Chris will have no restrictions.

You going camping with us at the end of April?????  If I'm gonna spend my 11th wedding anniversary camping with the scouts, I can't think of better company than the Rusts!  Que...I'm counting on you!!
