Cat is out of the bag

Good Morning,

Monday I received my certificate for 100 gpa for my 2nd mod at school.  I confided to two of the ladies whom we share a bond of sorts that I had WLS surgery.  So it felt good to include them on that. Told them about my amazing WLS family.  I think they were more intrigued with the friend aspect as opposed to the surgery itself!!  They are the only 2 people I have found out here in this area that measure up to my TMB family.  This area is NOTHING like DFW!!!   I was emailed the quote below from my grief support friends.  I thought I would share it with you all.

I think so too, it's kind of how I feel what is happening with me now.  These 2 ladies, really are special.

Nina that is cool  - I keep trying to get my guts up to find a local group but know they won't be my tx fam so put it off -

Face that fear, Girl!!!  Find the local group....you won't be losing your TMB family.....you'll be adding more friends!!  How good is that??  So many of my WLS friends are all over the U.S.  it makes for a lonely life in Texas without friends in the proximity.

I don't want to come across as whiny, but here in this area, there is no support.  A friend of mine in Sherman said that Austin was like California, vanity reigns.   No groups out here and the ones that do exist don't get together like DFW.   I tried to start a group out here, but no responses.

I'm glad I still have TMB!!!!!
