Been a while

Hi Everyone,

I am finally at a computer.  It has been a long week and the weeks to come will be longer I am sure.  Let me see if I can quickly fill you in.  I flew down to Florida on Tuesday last week.  Then on Saturday Mom and I flew to the Cape in MA.  Mom is doing ok but extreamly out of breath, weak, and gets tired so easy.   My Dad will be driving the van home sometime in the next couple of weeks.  He had things to take care of down in Florida thats why he stayed there.  Upset me but thats another story.  Mom had an appointment with her Primary Care doctor on Wednesday and then the Cancer center on Thursday.  I have a funny feeling she will end up in the Hospital again in the next few days.  I guess they will do another x-ray at the doctors to find out if the fluid has come back around her lung.  I think it has just because of how she is so out of breath all the time.  The tumor itself is on the upper right part of her right lung.  We dont know what stage it is, or how they are going to treat it or if it has Matastisized (sorry cant spell).  We are anxious to find out all these questions.  I dont imagine I will be going home anytime soon.  I am here for the long haul.  Mark and Eric will come Memorial Day weekend and then we will reasses after that.  Anyway I am asking again for prayers to continue for her, and also for my Dad as he drives himself back.  I love you guys so much.  Thanks for being there.  Michelle

P.S.  Taking really good care of me too.  Eating well but not to well!

Glad to hear that you and Mom are safely in MA and are getting her taken care of there at home.  I'm glad to hear that you are taking care of you because if you don't, you won't be any good to yourself or your Mom and Dad. Been keeping y'all in my prayers.

Hugs, Mari

Prayers for you and your family Michelle.  I know it is hard to see your mom ill like she is.  I've been there and done that with my FIL with pretty much the same thing.  Hang in there with her and help her as much as you can.
