Good evening all.  Cool, correction, cold windy day today.

Took Mary to Aldi today.  Spent some money, but got some good prices.

Got an email from Jill.  She asks special prayers for the family of one of her daughter's classmates.  The classmate was killed by a drunk driver who plowed into the back end of the family's stopped car on the side of the road.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Evenin' George....
Thanks for adding Nicole's family to the prayer list.   I just absolutely cannot imagine losing one of my kids, but to lose them senslessly to a drink driver is just ridiculous.  I told Paul that unless it was an absolute emergency, forget the side of the road, just pull off and find a parking lot!  I thought maybe it was late night but it wasn't, 5:00 in the evening.  A 23 yr. old @sshole that took a daughter from her parents, a sister away from her younger brother and sister, and friend away from countless classmates.  I just don't get it - if a person wants to drink, hey, that's up to them, but to do it and then get behind the wheel...absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!  Just ****** me off that it happened yet again.

Ok, enough of that...  Vacation was good, even though it was horribly cold in my opinion for Florida!  A lady we talked to at Wal-Mart said, "oh, yeah, it's been unseasonably cold here".  Figures.  I only got into the ocean knee deep as it was WAY too cold.  The girls found lots of beautiful shells.  I brought home some of that beautiful white sand so I'm going to put some in quart jars with some of the shells for the girls to have as a reminder of our vacation.  We went on a few scenic drives, too.  Took Schnitzel out with us one time so we could get some pictures of him on the sand.  He thought the sand was great and loved running in it!  I didn't think he'd like it, but he did.  Where we stopped was an open lot where a house USED to stand before a hurricane they had go through there a couple years ago.  There were a few empty lots and a lot of for sale signs.  Paul called the phone number on the for sale sign just to see how much the house went for...a mere 2.5 million!  Beautiful view but no way would I have a house there for fear of a hurricane!

The drive back was long but I am SO glad we came back a day early because I could not imagine trying to get the kids up for school in the morning without some good sleep.  Of course I had a ton of laundry - in fact, I'm still working on it!  I made some chili for dinner since it's so cold.  I think the weather forecast shows a nice warm up so I hope they are right!!!

Hope everyone has a great week!!!
