Update on Red - Brenda

I just talked to Nathan, I'll say calling is good but so nerve wracking and scary.

Brenda was moved to ICU because her vital signs had gotten too low.  They had to stop chemo to stabilize her.  She is doing BETTER today, in fact, they are wanting to move her back to a regular room today but right now there aren't any available.  She will need platelets today also.

Once they feel she is well stabilized they will begin chemo again.

Nathan said when she gets to a room, he is bringing her a laptop so she can post either here or just on FB, depends on how she is feeling.

He wants to thank EVERYONE for the support we are all giving Brenda, he said it is making a world of difference to Brenda to know so many people care about her.

Keep praying if you pray or do your thing, whatever it is......it's good progress!

Prayers still being said.  Tell Brenda we need her to fight this thing and get to feeling better.  Looking forward to when she can post herself.

Thanks for the update. I'm keeping Red and Nathan in my prayers. She's tuff and I know she'll give it everything she's got.

Isn't it funny how close you can feel to people who you've never met face to face?

Dana,
Am so glad you posted this today, been thinking about Brenda and wondering how things were going.  HATE it that she had to be moved to ICU, but am glad that she is doing better today.

I'll be looking for her to start posting (cuz it'll mean that she is feeling better)

Will keep praying and swinging Ally (she's bad enough to be whirled around SEVERAL times a day LOL)

Hugs, Mari
