Hi everyone,

Time for a colonoscopy...looking for a good DR in North Dallas, Richardson, Plano area...can you tell me DRs you have used since having your RNY ?

also--wondering how we drink the amount of liquid they may require?

I am really dreading the prep for this...will be my first time, scared of the yukky tasting stuff they may have me drink...

What did you have to drink the night before ? and how much ?

Thanks!

I had mine done by Dr Zopolsky in Rowlett at Lake Pointe Medical Center.  It was no big deal.  I had to drink a bottle of Magnesium Citrate (tastes citrusy-it's better poured over ice) and then took some pills and water.  The worst thing was the day of clear liquids the day before.  You can't have anything that's red, orange or grape so that left lemon and lime and I hate both.  I ended up with pineapple jello and chicken broth.

I have all of my GI Procedures done with Dr Blair Conner.  He is at Baylor Dallas.  He works with all of the pre and post op WLS patients here.
