Wednesday WLS Express- Shamrock Edition
Well..... I have news. News I might be jinxing but what the hell. I'll tell it anyway. If it's meant to be then it will happen. Whatever. I'm pretty indifferent to everything not associated with next week.
Eric has been offered a job with the company he's working for. Why, yes. The same company who's been saying the same thing for the last 18 months. And of course, this happens one week before he's off for 4-6 while he recovers from his RPLND. The only difference is there are more people involved now - like work force managers, union reps, etc to get the ball rolling. So say a quick prayer if you would to get Eric employed with the company he's been working for for the last 2+ years so I can finally get insurance, and he can finally find stability in his career (he works IT - there's no such thing as stability and hasn't been for years). I'm just really happy for him. Been a long time coming.

I finally got a big project done yesterday. For months I've been working on a collaborative cookbook for the fans of Los Lonely Boys. I got it to press yesterday and it's already selling both in paperback and as a free download. (It's sold at cost, so no $$ for me, but I enjoy it that way for this kind of thing.) Oh, it's called "Cookin' Texican Style" and has recipes from fans all across the US.
What else... I slept for 12 hours. Must have been really tired. I missed dinner and everything last night and just crashed. But, I'm awake now and ready to go.
