So who here is from the Austin area?? I noticed quite a few of ya'll are in the Dallas Metro area. And I see there are a lot of RNY's, any bandsters out there? Not that I care but would like to get to know some local bandsters. Thanks.

I am in P'ville. Do y'all know of a good support group? I noticed two of you have the same doc as I, Nancy Marquez. Maybe we will see each other around :)

I live in South Austin and will be having my RNY sometime next month. I'm currently attending a support group that meets monthly at Seton/St. David's on I35. In fact we are meeting tonight at 6:00 to 7:30pm in a small conference room inside the dining room area. Parking is free (you get your ticket stamped at the meeting). We meet the 4th Monday unless there isn't one and then it's the 3rd Monday of the month. Our moderator used to have a band and moved to the RNY a few years ago.
It's a very nice, helpful group of folks.
