Good afternoon all!!!  Nice day outside.  A bit windy, but still nice.

Have not been spending much time here at all the last couple of nights.  New project at work, that actually keeps me busy.  I asked my supervisor just when am I supposed to surf the net.

Gotta get my meals bagged up for tonight.  later

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

George, I love your comment to the boss about surfing the net!! I will probably be in withdrawl next week as I go back to work! Can't get on FB and they will probably have blocked lots more in the last 2 months. We are talking to the kids to see if they want to go to a Ranger game and we will let you know! Have a great weekend!

I am here.  Just got home from playing poker.

Thursday, we had to put our dog down.  It was a sad day in the Beatty household but he is in a better place with no pain.

Not much planned for tomorrow.  We will probably pull up the carpet in our Game Room or as we liked to call it "Koy's bedroom".  The carpet is all stained and nasty from the last 4 months of him bleeding out of his nose.   I want to start back up on roller blading so that will be on my agenda again tomorrow.

Have a good night.

So sorry to hear.  It is not an easy thing to do, we went through that about 6 months ago or so with Flyte.  Still call my other dog by his name once in a while.

Yes it wasn't easy.  We came home and took a nap and then while i was in the back yard, my husband must have gotten up to look for Koy and he wasn't there.  He was so upset about it.

He was and still will be a very important family member not only to me and my husband, but to my parents too.  They just cried when they found out we had to put him down.  We never allowed our dogs into our laps on the furniture but when my dad would come down, he would sneak his way up onto my dad's lap and my dad was the only one he would do that for.

I wrote this poem that I will have engraved on a picture frame.  My husband has yet to read it.  I think I may make it a birthday present for him.

You were a gift to us, a grand gift in fact.

You made us laugh, smile, & cry.

You howled liked the whistling wind

You talked like you were a human who wanted the last word.

You played like there wasn’t a care in the world.

Your nightly grumps made us laugh.

Your morning howls made us smile.

You are our baby, forever & always!

Here are some pictures of him.  Have a great night.

Thanks Liz.  It was a tough thing to do.  Especially when he was 11 years old and still acting like he was 2.  He would start talking to vet everytime we went in and want to play.  He wasn't bleeding when we took him in which made it that much more difficult but guess what...he started bleeding which made me feel better.  I was thinking to myself.  Hey Koy, do a big sneeze now.  And guess what he did.  It got all of over his paperwork.  I was saying to myself, that's my boy.   It was time though.  He has stopped eating since Sunday and was only a few of his treat's and that was it.  We had to coax him to eat Taco Meat on Wednesday night.

Thanks Liz for taking my phone call that night.
Have a great day and take care!
