Who did your PS??

I know Im jumping the gun here....big time!

My mind keeps going to where I will be a year from now.....and that leads me to thinking about PS.

Won't hurt to start gathering info, right?

Who did your PS - and would you recommend them?

I live in Houston....but would be willing to travel.

Also - who has had the "underarm incision only" version of brachioplasty? That long scar (from a 'regular' arm lift) just sounds scary to me.

I LOVE my doctor!!!! His name is Kyle Gordley in the Woodlands!!!! He did my face/neck/brow lift in July and my LBL/BL in December. This summer I plan on having my last round which will include my arms and thighs. He is fabulous!!! I also have a friend who is going to be using him and another one who is having her consultation with him next week. I just can't say enough wonderful things about him!!!

I do suggest though that you schedule several consultations... Each doctor is different and you need to find one you connect with.

Julie, I also suggest that you check out Dr. John LoMonaco too. He is an excellent surgeon and has done the surgeries for many tmb members. He is very active on the plastic surgery forum, and is also on facebook... He's really personable and down to earth, and will email you back and forth and answer your questions or concerns.

I used Dr. Michael Chaney off of 1960. His prices were reasonable and I think he did a great job. I've had some loosing up in the upper stomach area but that's not uncommon for WLS patients.

Julie, I had the brachioplasty done, the scars really aren't that bad and they are inside the arm. I also had a TT (anchor cut) and breast lift with implants. I'd like to have the thigh lift at some point.

Dr. LoMonaco did my lower body lift, breast lift, and implants. I was very happy with him and his staff, and he is very good at what he does. I would only go to him for lower body lift. I'm not going to do my arms. They aren't any worse than a scar would be. I don't know if I want to do my inner thighs yet. I'm still healing from my lbl. It's a tough surgery. Whomever you choose, make sure they are very experienced in that surgery specifically for wls patients.
