Fantastic Friday WLS Express
I think I'll slink on back to the "Red Cross" car at the end of the train. Good ol' hubby just HAAAAD to share his "germies" so now I'm horribly congested. With that comes the ever popular sinus headache, too. Of course, as my luck would have it, last night both older girls needed cupcakes for something they were doing at school so I did them, buuut, only with food prep gloves and a mask over my mouth. Heather has some of those masks for her hospital rotation with school so I figured it might look goofy, but I wouldn't want to get anyone sick! Paul thought I looked stupid but I told him I would only hope someone else would do the same thing if making goodies for someone. I am a much better "sick patient" though than hubby. I don't sneeze out into the open air, EVER, and wash my hands what seems like a MILLION times a day anyway. Thankfully I don't have any coughing, just mega congested is all. That's enough though! Can't WAIT for the meds to kick in and start working. I was up half the night, too, since I couldn't sleep all stuffy.
Ok, and get this, yesterday had to go to Wal-Mart to get a couple things for the girls' cupcakes and this guy is pushing his kid in the cart when the kid starts throwing up! I was like, "OMG"!!! The dad puts his hand over the kid's mouth and tells him "no" in whatever language he was speaking. Yeah, like THAT was going to make the kid quit. Now, do you think the idiot would think to STOP...no...he pushes the cart along leaving his kid's yucko behind. He never stopped to get anyone and kept on through the store! WHAT NERVE!!! YUCK! I found an employee and told them immediately. One other lady saw it happen, too, and got a cart to kind of straddle over it but good Lord, there was a trail. I just could NOT believe the guy walked off! If the kid was sick and they knew it, shame on them for having him out!!! THAT is one good reason people get so darn sick - everyone else's germies!!! Where's that "press and seal" wrap when you need it!!!
