OT: Prayers for my "Abercrombe", please 2PM UPDATE

Good morning, my family. I don't normally ask for prayers for myself..and I guess this isn't really for ME...but it IS..sorta...as most of you know, I call my boys, Corbin and Chris, "K-MArt" and "Abercrombe",because they are so vastly different in temperment, personality, etc. If I hadn't BEEN there both times, I'd never believe they came from the same uterus.

Chris is having surgery this morning (non-WLS). Yea, he's an ADULT..says HE..he turned 18 in November...but he's still in high school, still in my house..still under my roof...still on my payroll..etc...etc.etc...ANYHOO...he's having Pilonidal Cyst/Abcess surgery today (google it-not for the faint of heart, or while you're eating). The surgery is outpatient-and he has a GREAT surgeon-the same one who did K-Mart a few years back-but he'll be left with a gaping wound that SOMEONE will have to clean and pack, etc for WEEKS, and it will be a very painful, slow recovery...for the whole family...

All prayers and swinging livestock appreciated!!!

2PM UPDATE: We're home..Just got him settled..all went well..PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED...His wound won't be as large as Corbin's was, so hopefully recovery won't have to be 6 weeks, after all-THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART !!!

Swinging chickens for Chris Gina Gayle! My Nikki has had surgery for 2 different Pilonidal Cysts. you are right about not for the faint of heart!!! Never seen anyone in such pain as she was with the first one, so my prayers are with him for sure!

THANK YOU, Gina Gayle!! You just to HAVE and SEE these things to UNDERSTAND-huh? I had them when I was in high school, but never had to have the major surgery like my boys have.

 Prayers going out for Chris now and that he will not be in alot of pain and that he will heal quickly.   Prayers for Mom cause I also live in a house of Men and I realize what YOU are going to go through with a sick child,..not fun at all !!!

Thanks, sweet MEGGIE-it IS awful-not fatal, of course, but terribly painful-but that's what is Norco is for!! I'm hoping to come to RNS tomorrow, if I can find a babysitter for Chris (been awhile since I had to do THAT!!)

Honey, it make my a$% hurt just thinking about it! Hope all went well and his pain in undercontrol!! Think Kmart or Richard will babysit? I would love a Gina fix tomorrow!!
