Hi Tammy,
Other than food, one of the luxuries I reward myself with are weekend getaway trips. I am able to get away, relax, shop and be comfortable in the new skin that I am in. This is something that I previously did not do too often. I would stay in the house because I wanted as few people as possible to see me the way I looked, the low self-steem and no confidence whatsover. I feel this is why so many of us refer to our WLS date as our "rebirthday" because we are different individuals as a result our surgery.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
To keep me motivated as I went along in the weight loss journey, hubby promissed me a new wardrobe - and delivered on this promise monthly. I had a specific amount of money each month to spend which not only kept us on track from a budget perspective, but allowed me to rotate what type of item(s) I needed each month and from season to season. Some months I shrunk more in tops, other months pants and finally in my feet, so shoes it was! 2.5 years out and I still use my mothly 'allowance' to shop. It's more fun these days and many months I have carry over now.
Additionally, shopping can be counted as exercise if you do it right :) so it has an added bonus of getting you up and moving in a fun and motivating kind of way.
