Hope for Eric Fundraiser
Ok folks, the time is quickly approaching. I know many of you offered to volunteer the night before with set up, and the day of.
So... Please respond to this post as this is my shout out for volunteers!!!!>
We need folks to help set up the church gymnasium the evening before (March 19 anytime from 5:30pm on) and folks the day of (March 20) from everything to during the day to be there to help vendors, set up, (6:30am) then at the end of the day the tear down. Now the 'end of the day' is early..... 4pm.
so to reiterate.
I need March 19th anytime after 530
March 20th 630am to any time during the day and folks to help tear down from 4pm on. We have someone to do official clean up, but will need help with untapping electrics, etc.

I will be there both days. Though I would prefer to carpool with someone Friday night, I've been pretty tired in the evenings and don't think driving is in my (or anyone's) best interest right now.
Jeff will be there with me on Sat. I can't guarantee we'll be there at 6:30am, but will get there as early as possible.

Count me in for the early shift on 3/20. I had blocked out and planned to be there all day, but I found out today that Sara's Katie's concert is at 2:30 that afternoon and not in the evening like I thought it was.
I can be there from 6:30am until 1pm.
And I know this sound somewhat ridiculous, but you know me and my propensity to over dress. If you can give me an idea of what I may be doing, I should be able to determine the appropriate wardrobe. Thanks hon!

im grateful for any help. Sorry im just now responding, i had marked this thread adn realized i hadnt answered you!
Tshirt and jeans are fine. Come comfy... you may be doing anything from helping folks set up to walking around checking with vendors, etc

As to attire, I'm making some buttons that have the HFE logo on them for the volunteers. I currently have 24 of them but can make more if more volunteers decide closer to the date to come hang out with us (could someone let me know no later than Thursday 3-18?). If we want, we could all wear similar colored shirts that day as well (black, purple, whatever). Otherwise the button should work just fine for people who have questions. I plan on wearing jeans/capri pants, gym shoes, and a comfortable shirt. Not too dressy, not too frumpy. Story of my life.
And Debbi, my offer still stands. If you want, I can come snag you around 4ish (if you can get out of work) and take you there and you can stay at my house Fri night. Rhi will be with my folks so her room is open. Then Jeff can take you home. I promise I don't snore anymore AND will make you a decaf latte in the morning with one of the 10,000 SF syrups I have on hand. Heck - that offer goes for anyone who doesn't want to drive home. My home is yours.
