I want to Thank you for all the prayers that you all have said for my family and my middle son due to his drug addiction. I doubt that he is clean but at least he moved ( with his GF ) into a apartment yesterday. Or at least started moving. Trust me....I felt everyone of those prayers and I know that God answered them...maybe not the way I wanted yet but I know that the work is in progress. I am praying that very soon I will be stress free....I feel better today and woke up to a "small.....1 1/2 lb" weight loss. Hopefully I will soon have off all the weight that I am not comfortable with. And newbies....let me tell you we CAN gain weight after WLS. Just be aware that at times we all can turn back to food for comfort when we are mega stressed out. I love all you guys and please keep me in your prayers as I struggle to get this weight off. I KNOW I can do it !!!!

Thank you so much but really there is no success there IMHO. He is STILL making bad choices but it is HIS LIFE and I am not responsible for his stupid actions. Just glad that he is OUT of my house and that the stress level that I have been in for a very long time is on it's way down !!!

I understand...I just had to get some people out of my house that were stressing me out. My dad had some great advice - you just can't take care of everyone until you take care of yourself first! I'm glad you will be able to do that now.

I'm sorry your son is still making bad choices...addiction is such a hard thing to deal with (as we all know from being food addicts). You've done everything you can do - now he needs to be responsible for his own life - just like we did by getting WLS! At least your efforts to get healthy can serve as a good role model.

Ok Stephanie !!!!! I will try to post there daily. Actually my stress has been bad for about 1 1/2 years. Remember last year I had 6 people i was close to die. Hate to think about it but enough is enough !!! LOL
