Yes, it would be great to have another Houston area dinner. The last one was planned in Kemah and our great friend Ike came to town that night and spoiled our fun. I still have a box with $70 worth of lei's I bought because it was a Hawaiian dinner that Sherra was organizing. I've been to a few before, even in the Woodlands!

Damn, how I hate being in the middle of the state. I love my job and my friends and boyfriend, but I wish I was back in Dallas.
I didn't know about the MGC, and I couldn't care less. I'm not friends with everyone, and I don't expect to be. I'm sorry you guys had to go through this, though.

the only reason I've gotten so close to so many peeps is because I had to go out and intrude in their party! lol. But it was well worth it.

LOL I only looked at the thread originally because I was wondering what the MGC was. I couldn't help but tease Sarah about being left out, though.
We naturally gravitate to people we have things in common with. However, there are so many people on these boards that you cannot possibly be friends with them all or get along with them all. There are too many personalities to clash with. Given what the MGC was about, I'm just sorry that you all felt pressured to disband it. I have friends I share everything with and friends I share much, much less with. From the way Stephanie phrased it, it was a group of friends that were all very comfortable with each other.
I know there would be a hole in my life if someone took away my private, password protected blog space. There are people who can see it, but they don't judge, and sometimes they're helpful. I just think it's a bummer that such a big deal was made out of this, because it seems as if your private group was similar to my blog space.
