Frisky Friday WLS Express
GOOD MORNING! I love the name frisky friday. Too cute!
Yesterday I wheeled 2 doors down and spent some time with a neighbor and her babies which was fun but after 2 hours I was exhausted. It was so nice though to be out. I am doing better pain wise-just the top of my foot still hasn't stopped burning. It feels like I have a bad burn that someone is rubbing gauze on top of all the time. The nurse said this is normal. Since when am I normal?
Mari- hope you have fun today. I can't even sew a button on so I'd be no good.
Jennifer-so good to hear from you! Good luck on everything!
Karla- will you send me that recipe for the jalepeno pie? My parents would love it and they're doing a high protein diet.
Tonight we're meeting my sister and family for a bithday dinner for Bryan. His birthday is tomorrow but they weren't available then and we have alot going on tomorrow with soccer and soccer pictures. Sunday we are going to dinner with Bryan's family so he gets 2 celebrations!
Have a great day everyone!

Okay, so a quick story.....
I'm standing in Walmart the other night grabbing a few items for the week and take a quick detour through the clothing....
My hubby has been fussing because my size 12 jeans are a little (and I do mean little) baggy in the butt lately. So, to do a haha on him, I grabbed a pair of size 10 and thought what the heck! I brought them home and decided to try them on....
Well, to my surprise - I got into them, could button and zip them - now I wouldn't wear them anywhere like work, because I'm not sure I could comfortably sit in the darn things... But - I haven't been in a size 10 since I was 17!!!!!

Morning Train Riders! I'm sleepy this morning, but it's Friday so no matter what it's going to be a good day! I woke up about every 2 hrs last night, and I'm seriously hoping that it's not the beginning of the pregnancy sleep pattern. If so, I'll definitely have to work naps into my schedule. Took the dogs for a good walk this morning and I'm loving the weather. I wi**** could stay like this all year long!
Jeff is heading in to the dentist this morning for a bunch of fillings. He's always bragged about never having cavities, now he's got 7 or 8 to get filled. Serves him right for bragging! I'm super excited about the weekend. Tomorrow is going to be very busy, support group first, then we're going to see Phantom of the Opera at Fair Park. This will be our third time seeing it together, and from what I understand it's the last time it will be here. Guess we'll just have to head to Broadway to see it again. Then we're getting together with Jeff's family, sister/BIL and nephew included. Should be lots of fun.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Get outside and enjoy the weather at some point today, it's too beautiful to miss out on!

my DD says it's your body's way of getting ready for the every 3 hour feedings.... but of course she didn't start it until the last tri-mester not her first... and personally I think it was the normal "gotta pee" every 5 mins side effect all women get those first few and last few months of pregancy.

Jumping on for a quick second to wave Hi!!!
Today will be a horribly crazy day (moreso than usual). Tomorrow is the spring carnival for our school. I pretty much take over the Cake Walk because no one wants to do it. Then there is the monumental task of getting the parents to donate items for the cake walk. I think they panic and think it HAS to be cake, which it doesn't. We tell them either a cake, two dozen cookies, a dozen cupcakes or a pie. Something like that. These parents whine and complain EVERY year that the cake walk had to be shut down early (due to running out of stuff) but do they donate anything for it? NO! Irrr... I went to Sam's and bought two cases of their 10" cake circles. One case of white, one chocolate. There's 8 in each so 16 cakes. I do just use a single layer because hey, it's a kiddie carnival and they just want to win something, anything!!! I slap a bunch of icing on, throw on some sprinkles and into the cake box it goes. I've done it the past two years so I told them, "I'll be doing it until Sarah leaves so you've got them for another three years after this year." I also am doing a booth there to sell a little "paw claw" that I made. All the schools that our kids go to have mascots that have a paw...elementary are cheetahs, jr. high is jaguars and the high school is the tigers. So, dad helped me with the wood, cut out a paw pattern, then painted it with the paw design, then on the back it has a mini clothespin clip, then attached to a wooden base so it can hold a note, picture, etc. They are so cute! So I worked on those until I ran out of super glue last night so need to run to wally world and get more of that, then finish those, then have to get icing on the 16 cakes....all by 5:00! HAHA!!! Can we say running around like a chicken with my head cut off?!? Oh well, next week doesn't look to be near as busy so there's a light at the end of the tunnel!
Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!
