Meaningful March Friday

I had peanuts and almonds calling my name last night.� Ate a few too many.� I am at the same wt. as yesterday, so at least I maintained.� Maybe tomorrow it will move down.� That's up to me.�

I�just rode my bike for 21 minutes.� Was a little short on time.� I figured that was better than just not exercising.

My plan for today:
lots of liquids
protein coffee
jalapeno pie (no crust, just eggs, cheese, jalapenos)
Click shake
red beans n rice for lunch
eating out in Humble or Huffman for dinner...don't know hwere

Good morning!!  Weight is acceptable at 157 this morning but I'd still like to be on the other side of 155.  I have decided I am eating too much junk!!!!   Going to work on that this weekend.  Since I can't exercise I really need to bring my calorie intake back down to about 1000-1200.   I find that when I'm exercising I can lose eating up to 1500 cal.

Okay, I tracked everything this week, upped my calories and amazing - lost 1/2 lb, go figure!!!

So, I'm doing great for the week, except for exercise - limited due to long work hours (not an excuse, just reality this week)...   But, with a gorgeous weekend ahead, I'm feeling some long walks outdoors coming my way!!!

Oh, and my iron levels suck!!   Would appreciate any input here, will try to copy/paste my week for your thoughts.  And please don't fuss at me for low protein yesterday... I really did try!  I'm struggling here....

I know I didn't eat enough yesterday. Couldn't eat till after labs finally finished at 11 then "oh Poor Me" spent the afternoon being pampered at a spa day!! Nirvana!! Today will eat more--I can't believe I said that!

morning girls

I am here and the scale is okay. Not sure how that happens considering I really carbed up too much last night AND the late late snacking has to stop.  I need to find a balance so I don't get so hungry so late and have to eat something.

plan is about the same as always. I am doing a stuffed chicken breast and salad for lunch instead of my sandwich.  Maybe that will change my WANT to eat.

I got called in to work early so I grabbed a protein drink and a frozen dinner on the way out the door.  Dinner plan for tonight is chinese take-out.  The salt alone will probably kill me.  Didn't get on my bike yesterday-work was awful and I was just just too tired.  Hopefully tonight.

mmmm...I have beev craving cashew chicken fo two weeks but our favorite Chinese place closed!! Your excused for not riding yesterday but will need to schedule a make-up session!!Hee hee!!

These last 2 days have been full. In the process of puttiong up dishes yesterday morning I started cleaning. You know how it goes...needed to make room for some new Glad bowls I bought which led to rearranging the pantry, sorting out all those old plstic bowls, etc. Anyway I spent most of the day in the kitchen. While I was there I put om a big pot of beans. While cleaning out the freezer I found a couple pkgs of Corn Kits so I made Beast some good old cornbread to go with his pintos. Yep...I ended up having 2 pieces before I went to bed. It was SO good soaked in bean juice with a piece of crispy red onion! It trashed my carbs for the day but I loved it!

I have my 6mo visit coming up and it dawned on me I only had a few days to get the bloodwork done. After 3 rounds with the PCP's nurse not wanting to run my labs I insisted she call Dr. Davi's office. I left there with orders for the lab! I'm still not sure what all was on the list they gave her but they drew 20 vials of red juice! I stopped by Chik-fil-a and got a chargrilled chicken salad and a diet lemonaide for later. I ate the chicken strips, most of the salad is still in the ice box but I've really enjoyed that lemonaide this evening! I'm having left over SW Chicken for supper.

That's 2 days with fluctuating numbers but I suppose that could be a good thing...my brain will have no idea what to expect tomorrow! I'll be back on schedule again tomorrow.
