Good afternoon/evening all!!  A nice day outside.  Real nice.  This time of year is so rough though.  I hate when it is 30 degrees at night and 60 in the day.  I go to work thinking it is going to be nice and come out of work COLD.

Getting ready to go to the doc.

Not much else going on right now.  Later

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Other prayer requests:

Amanda N. - researching the various WLS available.  May God help her to choose which is right for her.

George - prayers for Oleta's mother. Also, prayers for Bob who works for me on the part time job.  He has MS and Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Gina L. - Praise that her brother is improving with the help of new meds! Praise that her FIL, Gary, is going home from the hospital. Would like to ask for prayer for her son Jeremy and daughter Stephanie. Both are bi-polar and are not on meds. Her husband Bill has started a new trial of meds for his bi-polar disorder.

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio.  They have made the move to the metroplex but still need to sell their house.

Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids.  They lost the parental rights to the children, but the decision is under appeal.

Kim (tennysonkw) wants prayer that she will be a better example to her children in the future, and that God will grant her strength to endure, as her and her husband go through their personal problems.

Lynne R. asks for prayer for Maxine, a friend of hers who is not expected to live much longer.  Pray for Maxine to find peace and for her family to be strong.

MariPW - prayers during a stressful time dealing with her job loss.

Michelle S. - Prayers for her Unlce Paul who is apparently in the final stages of Alzheimers.  He is now in the hospice area of the VA Hospital.  Also pray for her father, who is Uncle Paul's only surviving sibling.  He is having a tough time.  Mark's grandmother is almost 101.  Hospice is coming in today (3/2) to evalutate her.  She has congestive heart failure

Paul - prayers for Alice Cooper, a WLS individual who had back surgery recently.

Phyllis - Prayers for her as she is having problems in her life direction.  She has contacted some people from her school days on Facebook, but some of the memories have not been pleasant.  She is planning to go home to see her father (it's been 15 years) and it coincides with a school reunion.

Sarah448's son Jeremy had a car wreck (totalling his car) and recently lost his job also.

Vivian - Pray for her during the stressful time. She asks for prayer for Shawn.

My only problem with working from home is that I stay logged in working longer.... I've been logged into our system now for almost 12 hours and I've still got another hour at least to finish up what I'm working on.....

Hope the visit with the Doc turns out okay....

Keep us posted~!

I often think how much I would like to work from home.  Then I think about how nice it is to get out of the house.  Not sure I would like being a prisoner in my home.  You're a better man(woman) than I am.

Doc says no rotator cuff problem.  Slight problem of arthritis.  In my shoulder?  I told him I guess I am getting old.  So, at least no surgery.

I am not old.  The older I get, the younger I will act.  I am now a teenager, so hide the booze, cigarettes, and Playboy magazines.

I definitely couldn't work from home full time, but 1 or 2 days a week on a regular basis is nice....

So glad to hear there's no shoulder surgery needed, so sad to hear it's the big A instead... most Artho meds are NSAIDS.... ugh.....

and getting old is a real pain, literally.... sigh......

NO meds.  I don't want them.  Also, he thought about one more steroid shot.  Told him no way.  Don't need it that bad.  Will just put up with the pain.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

It was nice outside today? I haven't been out or barely seen a window (I have an interior office, which is better than a cubicle any day, but I sometimes feel very isolated from the outside) since I got here this morning.

Work has been complete crap since I returned from MI. I can't say that I'm anywhere near the right frame of mind to deal with it either. It should be a law that when you return from bereavement leave that people should back off for at least 3-5 business days.

Plus, I've learned inside my new office building that the warmer it is outside, the colder they make it inside. I'm not amused. My finger nail beds are currently a divine shade of purple. So much for my fabulous new spring wardrobe that I splurged on last week - first new clothes I'd bought in nearly a year - ever seeing the light of day.

Sorry I'm such a cranky pants, er, cranky dress since I'm not wearing pants today. I'm just exhausted, at a breaking point and trying to keep it together for another 2 business days until I can just be a vegetable for the weekend.

Sorry about the shoulder, but it is good news that it won't require surgery. I'll try to check in later once I've gotten home.

Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer
