WooHoooo Wednesday WLS Express
Good Morning My TMB Family,
I was up way to early this morning, and I have not started the train in a while so figured I would today...besides I have a great WoooHooo I could not wait to share! All of you know the pain I have been having for what seems like forever in my stomach due to adhesions. Well a month or so ago I went to see a gastro doctor here and he made it very clear the only thing that would make the pain go away would be to have them removed. Went and saw a general surgeon yesterday. He believes I am a candidate for surgery to remove them. He is not going to send me for a whole bunch more tests, he is just ordering the ones from the Doctor I saw in Wichita Falls, and the doctor I saw here. I am hoping when he gets the information that the tests will show what they have been telling me. It would mean a stay in the hospital for me, as he would not do it laprascopily and the stay in the Hospital could be anywhere from 3 to 5 days. He knows we want to get this done asap. At least I think I made that impression. Should be hearing from him in the next day or two and hope to get this done before Mark leaves for school for six week middle of next month. Just keep praying for me that it works out as it should. It's so wonderful to know that I can come here and not worry about being judged. You guys are all the best and I miss you all so much. I really dont like Dover. As nice as it is to see Tim and Jon so much...I dont like the cold, and I dont like the snow! Did anyone post pictures from the last dinner you all had? Would love to see them. Ok time for more coffee. Prayers this morning for all spoken and unspoken needs. Have a blessed day. Love you guys
WOOOOHOOO for HUMP Day!!! I'm making everybody jealous by working from home again today, but I actually get more work done from home because I don't get as many interruptions from co-workers dropping by, or emails, instant messages, phone calls about things that are not on my to-do list for today. Had a great time with my DD and family for her birthday yesterday and halfway managed to stick to my eating plan while doing it, but that dang slice of Texas Toast was calling my name.... LOL But I was able to stick to my 'No cake or ice cream for me, thanks' agenda!
Prayers are going up for all that need them!
This song was on the radio yesterday and I so love the slow easy start to it, so it's on the play list this morning! It's Paul McCartney and Wings' "Band on the Run"
STUCK INSIDE THESE FOUR WALLS,
SENT INSIDE FOREVER,
NEVER SEEING NO ONE NICE AGAIN
LIKE YOU, MAMA,
YOU, MAMA,
YOU.
IF I EVER GET OUT OF HERE,
THOUGHT OF GIVING IT ALL AWAY
TO A REGISTERED CHARITY,
ALL I NEED IS A PINT A DAY.
IF I EVER GET OUT OF HERE,
IF WE EVER GET OUT OF HERE.
WELL, THE RAIN EXPLODED WITH A MIGHTY CRASH
AS WE FELL INTO THE SUN.
AND THE FIRST ONE SAID TO THE SECOND ONE THERE,
"I HOPE YOU'RE HAVING FUN!"
BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN,
AND THE JAILER MAN AND SAILOR SAM,
WERE SEARCHING EV'RYONE,
FOR THE BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN,
FOR THE BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN.
WELL, THE UNDERTAKER DREW A HEAVY SIGH,
SEEING NO ONE ELSE HAD COME.
AND A BELL WAS RINGING IN THE VILLAGE SQUARE
FOR THE RABBITS ON THE RUN.
BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN,
AND THE JAILER MAN AND SAILOR SAM,
WERE SEARCHING EV'RYONE,
FOR THE BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN.
YEAH, THE BAND ON THE RUN,
THE BAND ON THE RUN,
THE BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN.
WELL, THE NIGHT WAS FALLING AS THE DESERT WORLD
BEGAN TO SETTLE DOWN.
IN THE TOWN THEY'RE SEARCHING FOR US EV'RYWHERE
BUT WE NEVER WILL BE FOUND.
BAND ON THE RUN,
BAND ON THE RUN,
AND THE COUNTY JUDGE, WHO HELD A GRUDGE,
WILL SEARCH FOREVER MORE,
FOR THE BAND ON THE RUN,
FOR THE BAND ON THE RUN,
THE BAND ON THE RUN, YEAH,
THE BAND ON THE RUN, YEAH
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Given that I don't know that I have a woo hoo for myself. Chris though got a progress report and he's doing pretty well! All A's and B's and the B's are high B's so I'm pleased. He has soccer tonight and I've been promised if I ride along Bryan will take me to Mooyah for a burger while Chris is practicing. How sad is it that this is what I'm looking forward to all day?! lol
Michelle-I'm so glad they are going to be able to help you!
Karen- good for you that you stayed on plan, and well everyone has their temptations esp while eating out! I would give anything to be able to work from home right now- I can do my job 100 percent from home but I'm not allowed so I sit here with no pay. I agree totally that I'm more productive at home like you said.
Jenny-hope ya'll got home from Eric's test okay.
Tracey- I know you said you're having surgery Wed-is it this Wed or next? I've been saying prayers reguardless.
I hope everyone has a great day today!
Easy night of work. Played a lot of solataire. Worked on my fantasy baseball. I work long hours, just not hard.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
My son had rotator cuff problems last year and he ended up having outpatient surgery. they took a bone spur off of it and his collar bone too... it took about 3 hours and he was a little groggy and sore for a day or so and that was it.... He said the several weeks of physical therapy to get the full range of movement back was a pain in the a$$ but he was really glad he did it. He's got full use of his arm back and is back to work in the Tree Service field.

Tonight I've got a meeting at church with our Women's ministry team. We're hosting a Ministry team rally meeting on Sunday and have to touch bases on what we want to do, etc. Lots of stuff still up in the air at church, and we've lost some more families so the future is still very unknown, but I do like seeing and hearing the enthusiasm that some of the people still around have.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning...today is BARNEY'S arrival day...my new PURPLE laptop. I can't wait, I've been checking the tracking for 2 days to see where he is. As of 5am he was at the Hutchins Fex Ex facility. Clay laughs at me for naming my computer but I bet within a week he's calling him Barney too.
I also ordered a new convertible top yesterday. It got ripped at a carwash over a year ago and I've had ducktape on it ever since. The dealership wanted $1200 to replace it but I found a guy that will do it for $650. Hopefully, the part around the glass doesn't need to be done cuz that will be a bunch more.
Thanks to everyone that responded to my thread yesterday. That's the most action I've seen around here in a long time.
I heard rumors that our Tracey's having surgery today. Don't know what for but prayers are being said cuz God knows what she needs.

King doesn'****ch American Idol, so I just HAD to lay in bed long enough this morning to watch it from the good old DVR and have it set to record for tonight too. What did we do before DVR and TIVO?
We've got action going on the board - good, bad or ugly. I'm hoping we can get it back to "normal" ... of course "normal" is a relative term.
Steph - I'll give you back PURPLE, I noticed you've switched to blue for your posts ... I'm just in a giving mood today! :)
Full day of work ahead - we have a west coast team member who apparently is over her head, so I'm going to jump in head first and hope I land on my feet to try and help her out.
Gotta get signed on for work, I'm probably missing an exiciting conference call or something!
