Let's make the TMB great again

George...you are right...many people have migrated to FB.  All of us that spend time on fB have a right to do so.  Please don't try to make people like they shouldn't use FB.  All you're going to do is upset people.  This was a question and answer session, not a Facebook slamming session.

I am sorry if you misunderstood me.  I am not trying to slam Facebook.  I am just offering one reason why the popularity of the TMB has diminished.  Facebook is a good thing for what it is used.  It is a great social network where you can not only keep up with your friends and family, but can also find old friends.  Everyone does have a right to use it.  I just do miss people that have almost totally replaced their TMB time with Facebook time.  I hope there is a better way to share the time and not sacrifice personal/family time.

No problem...I thought you were trying to tell us to stay of FB!  I used to spend LOTS of time on TMB but gave up that obsession before I started a fB acct!

I can't freakin believe I had a huge response and it's gone!

Facebook didn't become the demise of TMB.  TMB will ever change.  Oldtimers move on, come back and find new ways to reinvent their lives that is not completely WLS.  Facebook affords us that social outlet.

Your thread is great and I know many more read than post every day.

TMB was here before us and will be here after us. Hard to believe but it's true!

Looking forward to you making the right decision and being here even if it is just once or twice a week.

Surely this wasn't how you meant to phase this... the "right decision" for Loralea might be completely different than the "right decision" for someone else, lol. (Just giving you a hard time- I know you just want her to post here more often if possible).

Can I cry with happiness to SEE some of the old faces I miss so much.  If we can get some of the other lurkers here I'd be one grateful, happy person today.

Thanks Steph, mwah.

I just went through my friends list OMG how many have come and gone.  I might try messaging some and asking them to AT LEAST peek in and say hi.

Yes Lynne....for real !!! LOL  I have been a hairstylist for over 37 yrs....( man does that make me sound old ) LOL   Have you thought about straightening your hair or getting a perm with HUGE perm rods to straighten out the curls somewhat.
