Let's make the TMB great again
Kathy you hit the nail on the head on several points. I too suffer from the shear amt of food I can and DO eat. As you know, from day 1, I've always been able to eat a lot and I think that's what makes maintanence so hard is it takes a lot for us to feel full.
I commented earlier too about the whining and complaining on the train by the same people everyday that drove people away. You're not being mean, just honest.

UR the best, Kathy, I can't wait to get back to TX so I can start hanging with you guys again. I miss the camaraderie and support.

3. Pre-op, post-op or considering weight loss surgery? : Post-op 1 year 5 months RNY
4. What are your personal goals regarding WLS? : To lose about 10 more lbs. this will put me at a "normal" BMI.
5. What do you struggle with regarding weight loss?: Taking Vitamins Consistently. I take them regularly but really need to work on not just being regular but being perfect. Also need to track my calories for a while and make sure I'm still at an acceptable range.
6. What threads do you like on the TMB? : Monday morning weigh in is my favorite but I lurk and read most posts.
7. What would you like to see on the TMB that's not here? : More Austin Area People so we can get together like some of the other major city TMB members.

9. Do you attend support group meetings? : No
10. What else would you like to share about yourself?: I'm 28 and will be married 2 years this month. I don't have any kids yet but do plan to have some in a few years. I'm currently healing from breast augmentation surgery and am so excited with the results so far and can't wait to get my last 10lbs off so I can get my next and last plastic surgery procedure a lower body lift (I'm thinking October).
1. name Kimberly Fuller Grimes
2. Occupation Escalations Representative (mortgage servicing...modifications, short sales, etc)
3. Pre-op, post-op or considering weight loss surgery? 14 months post op
4. What are your personal goals regarding WLS? My goal was to become healthy and be able to get in the floor and play with my babies!
5. What do you struggle with regarding weight loss? Taking ALL of my vitamins daily... and now, snacking.
6. What threads do you like on the TMB? I love the Nigh****chman, Monday Morning Weighin, The train, Grateful Post, and just really love reading people's questions and trying to help when I can!
7. What would you like to see on the TMB that's not here? I would love to see more posts in general. I know that some people don't like negative posts or people complaining and whining, but I actually think this board is important for that... I like to be able to provide advice to people having certain issues they may not be able to get support for somewhere else... I like being able to come here if I'm having issues and get support and advice. Not all whining though! :-)
8. Do you need an Angel, buddy, support group location, doctor recommendation, workout partner or friend to help you? Hey, I always will take any more accountability I can get!
9. Do you attend support group meetings? I went to a few Baylor groups before they changed the format. They suck know imo. I really liked that I could sit and talk with other post ops and get advice...now it's so structured, and not even really helpful. :-(
10. What else would you like to share about yourself? I am 26, have been married for 6.5 years and have four boys. My hubby and I adopted two boys... Our boys are 2, 5, 7 and 9. We have an 18 month old, and found out on a Friday we were getting our two older boys, and found out that Sunday we were pregnant. So we went from 1 to 4 kids in a weekend! My life is crazy but I love it!

I totally agree if it's weight loss related and you're stuggling, bring it on, spill your guts and let's try to find a solution. The posts people are complaining about have nothing to do with WLS, just general "Debbie Downer" posts from depressed unhappy people that just drag others down with them.
