Monday Morning Weigh In - Time to REFOCUS

It's been quite a week for some of us, I keep reading grumblings about how so many of the "Graduates" (or those out of the Honeymoon phase) are struggling with eating issues, a bit of a regain, or just generally need to refocus their energy away from inappropriate foods.  I'm just coming out of the Honeymoon phase, so this is very interesting to me...  From this, I would really like to hear your experiences or struggle (if you are one of those persons), what you are doing to refocus, and then if you will come here on Mondays to talk about it.  There are many other threads out there to discuss this type of thing, mainly the one Karla does every week.  But, I know the many honeymooners who post here could benefit from this information, so I think it would be great to hear about what you are doing and how you getting things back on track.

Sooooo, moving right along here. I've dropped a little of the weight I picked up while I was scarfing everything in sight...YAY ME!! Will continue to work on getting that back off and entering a new decade over the next couple of weeks. We've heard about me...how are YOU doing??  H

Good morning.  This week has been a great week for me.  I have been working out with my personal trainer and he has helped me learn different exercises to really work those muscles and burn fat.  I am trying to tone up all those muscle that are drooping and sagging. 
I went and bought my LITTLE BLACK DRESS this past week for my cruise and will have a pic taken to post soon.  I was also buying shorts and such for the cruise and was able to get into a "SIZE 10"  YAYYYYY!  It feels so good to be able to say that once again.  Since March of 2009 I have gone from a size 26 to a size 10... OMG!!!!! I can't believe it.  Thanks to you and your inspiration and pep talks it is working for me.  Thanks Mari for being my Saving Angel.

I know I have whined and boohooed when I haven't lost like I think I should have.  I am really trying to keep on track..
You would also be so proud of Trisha... she has lost so much weight lately... She is so proud of her accomplishment, but won't say anything to anyone about it... She goes to the gym with me and helps keep me motivated as I do her.

I hope that you'll send or post a picture of you two together, maybe one from your upcoming cruise!  I'm glad that you have each other and keep each other focussed on the goal!!!  I don't have anyone here to do that with and it makes it very hard to keep my eye on the prize.

I plan on posting pictures very soon of me and I will try to get her to take one with me... she hates cameras. 
I know it must be quite hard not having anyone to keep you on track.  If it wasn't for Trisha, I probably wouldn't be where I am today...
I will keep you in my prayers and pray for guidance for you.

I like your idea of having some grads post their advice here.  I was down to 144.8 earlier in the week and thought WOOT - what a great MMWI post that would make and then bounced back up LOL.  No biggie - still bouncing up and down within my goal range.  This post is like my old weekly weigh-ins with Weigh****chers.

Sarah,  I think everyone is bouncing around.  I keep hearing that no one is happy with their eating habits (and I am included in that) and/or weight.  I don't know if it's the weather, that time of the year, or that everyone is just in a blue funk cuz they're just plain sick and tired of the cold gray days.  Something has GOT to give and I don't know what it's going to be.

All I know is that I am fed up with it and have got to do something to get it back together.  And YES I realize that I am in a strange predictament that really screws with your head, eating habits and everything else.  I have a lot of challenges, which makes it even more important to get it together. I'm like you, bouncing within the range I've been hanging around, so I'm not too worried YET!!!

I've rebounded from my little upswing I had going on - finally!

Highest weight: 294
Surgery weight: 260
Weight two weeks ago: 148.2
Today's Weight: 144.6
Weight Gain/Loss: -3.6 lbs over a two week period

Total weight loss: 150 ('cuz it just sounds better than 149.4)

I just have to remind myself that I have declared my bounce from 144 to 149 and I'm happy with anything within that range!  So today, I'm happy, happy, happy!
