eloquent?...ummm...cough...cough...SHERRY, as YOU know, first hand, when we open our mouths at the bedside, it is not OUR words that come out-it is the words God gives us to fit THAT situation. Sometimes I will hear myself and think "Hmmmm--that was GOOD-I'm gonna have to remember THAT one!"

Gina you are so right - my grandmother hung on and on and finally was able to leave in peace after my aunt (her main caretaker other than her husband) crawled in bed with her and hugged her and told her it was ok to go, we would all be ok and take good care of each other and Paw- she passed less than 6 hours latter, very peacefully

you are so wise my friend -and freely share the knowledge you are blessed with :) a blessing to the rest of us

DANNI-exactly-she just needed your aunt's "human touch" and her permission/blessing to leave this earth. I think it's harder for women to leave cuz we don't think anyone else can carry on OUR job CORRECTLY

Good morning.  I have to test one or two kids at our Jr. High today for another diagnostician.  It depends on how long it takes.  Have a chore today at my office for TAKS testing before I go test.  I'll be glad to get it done.  It's been a long, hard week at work and I will be glad to get to chill this weekend.  Don't have any big plans and that's a good thing!

 Good Morning All,
Well it has been a couple of weeks, My pt in Amarillo went into hospital and the call center where I work, said there was nothing avail for that weekend. So I called Dallas and my pt in Plano had not rec a replacement nurse, So I worked 6 nights with him and 2 nights hospice. Came home wed and they got me a pt in Leveland Wed, thur and Fri night 12 hr shifts.
My youngest DS Julian had his 4th baby yesterday, Jacob was born around 3:30 pm and of coarse He waited till after I came home to be born. He was born on My brothers 47th BD and what would have been my mom and dads 50th anniversary. They divorced 1 yr after my brother was born.
Would Love to see all of you this weekend, It is also the next to youngest Grands 2nd birthday Sunday. If we can not make it, much Love and hugs to you all.
Stephanie you can count down the cruise all you want, if people do not like it, they do not have to read it. I am having such a hard time NOT telling John until our 20th anniversary in JUNE,LOL.

SHERRY-when you're EVER ANYWHERE close-call me-you never know-sometimes my hospice cases are 60-70 miles from home-we never know-we might can meet up at a truck stop or ***** house..no telling what we can do!!

Good morning. I'm cold this morning-which is rare for me. Lately being laid up I'm warm all the time.
Not much to report-another day, another recliner/couch day with pain still. Hoping and praying that I can be more active soon but right now I'd settle for an HOUR with no pain. So, I sit as still as I can. Thank goodness my entertainment threshold is so low- otherwise I'd really have nothing to do all day. lol. Trying to focus on the positive because obviously there are folks far worse off than me.

Good morning Train Riders!!  I've got awesome news!  My brother and SIL are expecting TWINS!!  Wooohoooo!  She's been bleeding for a week and so they were totally expecting to go in and find out they had lost the one baby.  Nope, there are two in there and look like they are doing just fine.  What an incredible blessing.  Needless to say, they are kind of freaking out now, but it will all work out and we'll have 3 grand kids for Mom & Dad in Sept/Oct.

Today should be pretty good, I have a couple of meetings and some projects to work on, so hopefully the day will pass quickly.  Jeff and I are going to do a date night tonight, not sure what we'll do but it will be nice to spend some time together.  I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!  I'm also looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning.  I know I'm not getting enough sleep, but I just have a hard time going to bed early, even when I'm exhausted.
