Today "National Pancake Day " (Free SS at IHOPs)
IHOP is celebrating with free short stacks until 10 p.m. tonight at all locations .. They are only asking that customers make a donation, which goes to Shriner's Hospital .. (this is for non-WLSer friends and family only!

Reminds me of my pre-op days at our local Denny's .. I think they were about to dedicate a booth in my name there, I was such a reg .. 
Funny thing is how after surgery that "cheap filler food" like they serve at IHOP, Denny's, Waffle House, etc. seems to be so bland and tasteless now .. Like someone on here point out one time, the WLS seems to make us now require a "higher standard" of quality in our food .. or to put it another way, our taste buds are just not satisfied anymore with the cheap stuff ..
