Memories of.....well, let's just say it was pre-college days ROFL!  Hoping you have a wonderful day!!

It’s going to be a LONG, COLD day here in AL!  It was 21° when I got up…it was super cold in my house. Since it had been so warm I had turned the thermostat and forgot to boost it up for a cold night. It was 59° inside the house...no wonder I was freezing! Have remedied that, got hot coffee going in, cranked up the heat and found a quilt, kitty and computer to keep my lap warm! Ahhhhhhh! 

 

Just swinging by to say Good Morning and thanks to Karen for the great song…Man, you’ve been hitting them spot on the last few weeks!  Or maybe it’s just my mood, whichever it is, keep the great tunes (and memories) coming!!!

Good Morning my TMB Family,

Gina I am so glad your baby is back with his Mom.  God is so good, and he answers prayers.  It is cold here in Flroida only about 45 and freeze warning in affect for tonight.  I dont care as long as I dont see snow on the ground.  They are getting hit back in Dover today.  Poor Mark and Eric!  :)  Went to see my Uncle yesterday.  He is in the Hospice wing of the VA Hospital and I was so impressed.  WHen you walk from the Hospital to Hospice it is like a different place.  Very peacful and quiet.  My Uncles room was big enough to accomidate all the family.  They called it the Presidential Suite.  All the family was there except for one of his sons and he is coming today.  He was lucid and knew who we all were but had no idea where he was or why he was there.  So sad.  Funny how one day they think he wont make it through the night and the next day he is so good.  We are going back over this morning to see how he is.  More then likely this will be my last visit with him.  Makes me very sad.  I would love to stay until the time comes but who knows how long it will take.  Today for my birthday we are going to breakfast, then to the hospital, then this afternoon I am getting a hair cut.  Looking forward to getting rid of this mop on my head.  Then tonight we are having my cousin and my aunt over for dinner.  No cake cause I dont eat it, and my Mom and my cousin are doing weigh****chers.  My plan as of now is to leave on Saturday but things may change between now and then.  Will just have to see what happens. Oh well.  Sorry I went on like I did.  Prayers for those in need this morning.  Alissa how is your foot coming along?   Have a blessed day.  Love you guys

Tracey - I'm sorry you are suffering. I hope you are better soon and that the surgery is a success.
Mari- 59? I'd have been freezing and I'm now the warm natured of the 2 of us now here at our house! Hope the job search turns up something soon.
Michelle- thanks for asking about my foot. It hurts alot. I'm frustrated but trying to remain positive. I'm trying alternatives to pain medication as it was tearing up my tummy. I am basically stuck in the recliner, couch, and bed to keep it elevated so it's a bummer.
Not much on the agenda today. I can do laundry and dishes so I'm trying to keep busy.

Morning all - I like working split days at work, but, then it seems like I am always either a) at work, b) tired, c) short on time, or d) alll of the above.   With 3 to 5 day off, I can rest and get caught up.  Oh well. I am so looking forward to Sat. night and peep time. I kinda feel out of the loop becasue I have been busy and working.

Work is kicking my butt on a regular basis and it keeps me out of trouble, but I have been having stomach pains for about three weeks and I'm not sure what is up. Good new, I have lost 4 lbs, bad news, I have not been trying!!!!!!!
