Bigtime TMI question!!!! Has anyone had problems with Hemorrhoids after WLS????

Sorry, I know that this is TMI, but  I need answers and help!!!

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the 'rhoids after having WLS?  I have never noticed the problem until about 6-7 weeks after my surgery.  I know that being overweight can lead to having hemorrhoids, but why would I get them when I losing the weight?  Could it be because of the rapid weight loss?  My surgery was December 8 and I have lost 70 pounds.
I have only ever been constipated once in my life that I can remember and that was this past summer when I was impacted (I know TIM!)  My stool is usually in the terms of liquid diarrhea to being very, very soft and not formed what so ever nor do I strain when I have a BM - for it has a "force of its own" due to it being in liquid form.  I have had too many colonoscopies in the past (to evaluate for intestinal issues and abdominal pain) and my GI doc has never told me that he saw hemorrhoids internal nor external.

I do take high doses of narcotics daily (75mcg Fentanyl patches which I change q 2 days and Oxyfast [liquid concentrated Oxycontin] 20-40 mg BID for break-through pain) and these should constipate me and they don't.

I have seen my PCP for this issue and the medications she gave me haven't worked therefore, I plan on calling my GI doc in the morning to see what his take is on the 'rhoids situation.  The pain is severe (and I deal with chronic pain daily) enough that it's effecting my sleep and exercise routines.  I can't sleep well at night because the pressure from the 'rhoids keep me from laying on my stomach (I can't sleep on my back at all) or if I lay on my side my leg(s) start to cramp up from the pressure of my weight on the extremity - which in turn causes me not to exercise at all because of the leg cramps.  As for exercising itself I can't sit for periods of time (even short) due to the pressure and pain of the 'rhoids and the same goes for walking because of the external 'rhoids themself.

Therefore, I was wondering could this be a normal reaction from the surgery itself or something else that I must really look into??  If this has happened to you after surgery and you don't want to post it here, pleas feel free to send me a PM.

Thx,
Chembe

Yes, I have had problems after plastic surgery.  This is the only thing I found that works.  It is not cheap, but will help you.  They can even ship it overnight...type it in a web browser.  It's $40 for 90 capsules (you take 3 at a time).

It is so hard to get enough roughage in your diet at first, I had severe problems at first but It seemed to adjust not to long after. I would suggest Drink tons of water between meals (never with a meal ). I make sure you add a little alpha sprouts to you salad, it helps.
