Belle- I know menu planning is a struggle for most of us. It gets worse as our lives get more crazy. Hang in there.
I might have to pick your brain because me-with the big ideas- said at work we should create a facebook page for an upcoming statewide conference we're having and you know how it is- the person that suggests gets volunteered. lol.

Alissa - I'd be honored to help.  Setting up FB pages seems to be my second job lately.  Just let me know when you want me to jump in.  When you open the page, send me the URL so I can join it.  Then you can make me admin so I can access all the bells and whistles you might want.  When the page is done, you can "un-admin" me and your baby will be good to go.

Does that sound like a good plan to you?

Alissa, I meant to add that I have graphic software, so I can make the page's avatar if you'd like.  I have hundreds of fonts to choose from, as well as fractal software for something different.

(Can you tell I love creating pictures?)

Sounds like a plan. I'm not sure if they'll approve us having a FB page-we'll see. If so, and if they ask me to start it, then you'll be the first one I call.
THANKS!!!

Good morning.  Terrific Tuesday...just another day of lots of work for me.  It will be terrific when I get home from work and teaching my homebound on this super cold day.  I hope I make it home before the ice/snow/sleet hits.

Prayers for all who need them.  Have a great Tuesday.

Karla

GOOD MORNING! I'm sorry I've been fairly MIA. I've been having tummy issues since Sunday. Better today. I'm very tired after this surgery-sleeping alot. Thankfully not too much pain so little need for meds yesterday or Sunday. I see the doc today.

Michelle-my grandmother wouldn't allow me to videotape so she wrote down the answers to my questions-it was back when she was able to though. I think a tape recorder would be great- or a video recorder if you could rent one. He might feel less awkward-and your dad too-though with audio instead of video. I'm glad you are able to visit with them. How are Mark and Eric faring?

I've got to go make a lunch and get a boy out in the COOOOLLLDD! Hope everyone has a great day today!

Good morning Train Riders!  I actually felt human enough today to do my exercise video this morning.  It's been a couple of weeks so I'm sore and didn't do all the reps, but I got through it!  Woohoo!  Hopefully my energy will stay up enough to get back into that every day.

A couple of my coworkers were laid off yesterday, which sucks for them and adds more work to my load.  Sure makes me incredibly thankful that I'm still employed and I'm hoping there aren't more cuts in the future.  Gotta figure out what I have to add to my list of stuff to do today, and then start working on it.  Tonight I'm meeting a couple of ladies from church for coffee.  We've been trying to get together for almost a month, and no matter what I'm heading down there today.

Say some prayers for my Mom today.  She's in surgery right now having a knuckle fused and another knuckle replaced.  She's got really bad RA and can't take any NSAIDS now so she's in pretty constant pain.  I'm hoping this surgery helps with some of her persistent pain at least for a while.

OK, going to go boot up the work computer and try to be productive.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Deb,

Prayers going up for your Mom. My Dad and I suffer from severe RA and both of us can not take any of the NSAIDS. I'm hoping that my new insurance will cover Humeria again, that stuff was wonderful! Take it easy on the exercise etc and listen to your body. The first few months of it's normal to be tired.

Your loved!

Lynnette

Last night's dinner... Today's Lunch - had to share...

Pinto Beans that I let cook for 16 hours on low...

Ham??  NOT - actually I goofed and put leftover, frozen smoked brisket into the beans...

BEST mistake I ever made!!!!

So, today's lunch is Very high in protein and yummy!!!!

I woke up yesterday morning with my house smelling like a BBQ diner...  Had no idea why the frozen Christmas Ham would have smelled that way.

Funny - hope I can duplicate this!!!!
