I NEED PRAYERS !!!! STRESS IS GETTING TO ME !!!!

Life's stresses ( brought on by my son's ) is getting to me !!!! I would love to scream !!!! Weight is up and down and back up !!!!! UGH !!!! My youngest son was diagnoised with Mono last thursday. Sunday he woke up and his tonsils were HUGE !!!! Today he woke up and said he had to go to the doctor ( he has had problems swollowing ). We went and now on top of the Mono he has strep throat. Not only that but the doctor looked behind the tonsils and said if they become abcessed there he will have to have surgery. This is my son who is a college student and majoring in voice.....so needless to say he would be useless in his classes at college since he can barely speak. He has lost 5 lbs in a week. Please keep him and me in your prayers. My other son's are stressing me out also !!!! I need a vacation NOW !!! LOL too bad the cruise is so far away !!!

Viv, I know you feel at the end of your rope with all the issues going on, but I also know you can make it. Try to take a few minutes to relax and treat yourself.

Your poor baby... I had my tonsils out about a month and a half ago... Even though he is a voice student, if he gets these suckers out now, the plus side is he will have a lot less issues with them later in life.

I hope all gets better ASAP. I know your issues with your other sons aren't something that will be cured overnight either. :-(

Viv, what does the doctor say about the mono? I know it can be serious, but I don't know very much about it... ?

Kim....the doctor wasn't talking about removing his tonsils. Not really sure what the surgery was all about. He said that if the back of the throat behind the tonsils got a abcess that it would creep up the palate of the mouth and then he would have to have surgery. Actually his Mono is much better. He is feeling much better other than he can't swallow even his salava. UGH it is the pitts....my oldest son is getting on my last nerve lately too. His mouth with me is going to get him in alot of trouble. Middle son...well that is another subject that I would rather not get into !! LOL

Thanks Julie....Stress and depression makes me want to sleep so I have gotten way too much of that. I think staying at home so much taking care of my 19 yr old son is getting to me !!! Stress makes me not loose weight in fact it does the opposite I have found out. It makes my body hold on to every pound. Thanks for the prayers. I definately need them !!!

Thanks Meggie.....I may take that advice and go shopping today. Stress is really getting to me lately. Too much going on in my life. Hubby just works overtime to escape. LOL Maybe I need to get a job !!! UGH horrible thought !! LOL

Viv, take care of yourself. Prayers for your son who has strep and mono. I imagine it will be a few weeks before he is healed. Take good care of him.

The other 2 sons are big boys. Give them good advice and don't stress yourself out over them. Stressing out won't make them make the right choices.
