Century Club!!

Well, I had my six month surgiversary on February 17, and, as of this week, I am officially in the Century Club!! I'm sitting around 102 pounds lost from my starting weight. I'm now less than 40 pounds from goal!!

It's been kind of a rough month, medically, but I'm otherwise doing great! It's amazing what a difference six months makes. I started out with a super morbidly obese BMI and I'm now 4 pounds away from being just overweight! I think I would have been here earlier if it weren't for the 10 pounds or so I gained from IV fluids while I was in the hospital the first week of the month (explanation is in my blog, it's kind of long-winded to put here).

Congrats on your success!! You'll be at goal in no time!

You look great!  You have really changed since the Dallas OH convention - you need some more rcecent pics !!!

I know I need updated pictures.  My roommate hasn't been around that much to take them, and I just haven't thought to ask anyone else. I'm going to try to get my boyfriend to take some this week. I'm *almost* in a size 12. I can get size 12 jeans from Old Navy on and zipped up and buttoned, but they make a muffin top in the process. The problem is that the size 14 jeans are too loose! Ah, well. Give it a week or two, and I should be able to do the 12.

As requested, updated pictures! Before pictures were taken about two weeks before surgery, I think. Before I started the pre-op liquid diet.  After pictures were taken last night, February 27, 2010.









I find I don't see my weight loss in myself until I see pictures like this. It really amazes me the difference six months can make!

Wow wat to work it girl!! I love the fact you even have a big smile with a profile pic!!! Befor and after pictures are so important to help us realise just how far we have come!! Woo hoo to you!

I like the smile on your face in your current pic.  Your before pic looks like mine - you have that "I-hate-to-have-my-picture-taken-because-I-feel-so-fat-but-will-do-it-because-I-need-before-shots" look.
