Snowing!!

Wow, it is actually coming down pretty good here on Ft Hood. My 5 yr old so is excited because she has never seen snow before. I really thought  (hoped) they would close schools and post but no such luck. Now I have to worry about driving back home to Temple later today when the weather is even worse.

would you please do me a favor and send some of that white 'stuff' my way.  I need a day off and nothing is better than a good old fashioned 'snow' day....I just want it bad enough that the roads are bad, but that I still have electricity!!!

Wow, it was great! We got about 3 or 4 inches which is a record here in Central texas for 23 Feb. Got released from work at 11:00 am and had snowball fights with my girl. Got to report in at 10:00 am this morning so it was nice to sleep in a little. I'm sure we won't see anything like this for a few more years.
