Monday Morning Weigh In
Tara,
I'm sorry but I just have to LOL on the 'potato incident'!
If it weren't for potato incidents the past, oh 25 years of my life, I'd be thin! Potatoes are my crack.
And there are 5 of them left from this weekend sitting in my kitchen. Must throw them out or give them away.

forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could be any different

OMG!! Maintenance is tough!! The love of my life was in town this past weekend and we ate out every meal. Even with that I LOST 3 pounds!! I think my weight is redistributing and my face does not look as thin, so I'm not going to worry about it. If my BMI gets below 18, I'll start to worry...

It's funny that when we do that, we lose weight. That happened to me the weekend after losing my job, when I came to Houston. Ate like the proverbial PIG and still lost weight...WTF??? Dunno! Well, I found all I lost, I hope you don't! I just want to get back to losing, so I can get down to my personal goal! It's all a mental thing..........LOL

I fought off some sinus crud/cold all week and felt like crap and bounced all the way up to 147 and then back down - must have been fluid retention from feeling puny.
Sorry you had a rough week, Mari and I hope something opens up on the job front for you soon, Pushing protein and water always pushes the scale back down for me and so far that is all I've had to do to maintain *knock on wood*. You are doing the right thing and are doing GREAT!
Thanks for doing this thread for all of us - it keeps me from straying too far off track. I don't want to be staring at 20 pounds to lose and if I didn't get on the scale and report in every week it would be easy to bury my head in the sand and ignore it (like I did pre-surgery!).

I kinda feel like that too - I've got some kinda sinus crap going on too. It's moving down into my chest, got a nasty little cough building up and I'm heading out in a little bit to get some Mucinex Expectorant and see if I can't clear this CRAP up before it takes hold and makes me REALLY sick. This could also be a reason for the eating "binge" I have been on for the last couple of days. Dunno about that, am just re-evaluating my food and liquid choices. I was "maintaining" pretty well too, just bouncing around...a pound here, up and down...you know. Need to feel a little better so I can bet back to that!
That's why I do this thread...cuz I know if I screw up badly more than 1 week in a row, somebody is gonna call me on it. Besides the fact that it keeps me in check! LOL!

Got on scales this morning good and bad news! I have been bouncing the same pound on and off again. Doc wants me to find 5-7lbs. Eating all I can and it just bounces up and down the same pound. Well at least I am not still losing!
