I don't mean to start a "surgery war" here, but the band just does not work for a lot of people, as far as getting all the EW off and keeping it off (look at the time Stephanie had with hers) .. If it continues to look dismal for you, you might want to consider a revision at some point .. We have had many successful band-to-DS revisions on here ..
