We had a fairly mellow weekend around here - grilled out with friends on Sunday - got to talk to Tim a fair amount (lots for him still being in school) finished up a rag quilt for the teen and just generally had a good weekend

Rach is home with me today and tomorrow - she wil be in panties agian - was in them all day on sat and sun - progress is being made - if she would just stay in diapers I'd be ok with that but she wants to wear a pull up and go potty when she is not busy and pee in the pull up when she is - ummm NO it's an either or thing - pee in the pot and be potty trianed or wear the diapers - we will see what the next two days brings - you all know it is hard on my to actually be HOME for 4 days in a row LOL

looking forward to this week - should be a good one - then one more and Tim is out of school and back to reg deployed life and having a schedule always drops my stress level

WOOOOHOOOO for MONDAY!  Of course that's the gym talking, but hey, that endorphin high gets me through the usual BS that Mondays always bring, LOL  Had a great weekend, spent Saturday vegging on the couch and Sunday with the family... although 2 different trips to Wally World, 1 for birthday shopping and 1 for groceries, almost broke the bank...... I got some quality snuggle times with Becca Sue... that's what counts the most! 

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

I had a fabulous weekend with an old college flame.  We've known each other 20 years now.  He makes me feel beautiful and sexy, even with all my excess skin...lol.  We went to Kemah and had fun at the restaurants and riding the rides.  Now back to reality....

I had my usual Saturday routine...work!!  It is a necessary evil during tax season.  On Sunday's I try to work on my private clients, but lately I just can not get going to save my life.  I just feel that I am so tired and dont have the strength of a wet noodle.  Now that is kinda sad.  I think I may call my hematologist to see if I can come in for some more blood work (ferratin level particularly).  In 2009, I did have two iron infusions (January & July), and I did have blood work done in December, but ferratin level was okay then, and I am getting my B-12 shot every two weeks.  But right now, I just dont have any 'life' in me to get things done.  

Oh, and to top it all off...I get to drive in wonderful 'rain' this morning to work.  When will it ever stop....back in 2006 & 2007 & some of 2008 we were in a major drought...now we get rain on a weekly basis.  But did I hear correctly, that the Metroplex is going to have SNOW again???  I need a 'real' snow/ice day...the kind that makes you have to stay at home, because the roads are so BAD!!

Good morning!!!  Had a "scent"sational time with the girls this weekend!!!!  It was a much needed get away filled with lots of laughs!  Which makes it so much harder to get the ball rolling on this Monday morning.  Trying to gear up for the cold front and snow the weather man says will be coming tomorrow... WTH is up with this weather this winter??  I am tired of it and want Spring NOW!!!!  (as I stomp my feet)

Oops.... just looked at the time and need to scoot out the door!!!

Good morning!! "Twas a busy weekend in my world. From Friday early morning until 8pm last night I had only slept a grand total of FIVE hours. I don't recommend this for old people....just sayin'....

I wanted to have a pity party, for working, instead of going on road trip with STEPHANIE, but that was kinda hard to do when I was doing Hospice with 46 yr old cancer pt, who was in terrible pain. Sat night I was giving her Morphine, on average, of every 30 minutes, and it just barely dulling things (on top of all the other meds)...Sure CANNOT feel sorry for ME when others have REAL problems-ya know?????

Back to the bill paying job this morning..AKA "The Circus".supposed to move offices this week...away from my windows..to the center of the building, to an ugly cave...so "they" can better watch my office mate...I'm paying for "the sins of my sister"..sigh...have to tell myself "It's just a job, it's not my life..it's just a job, it's not my life...it's just a job, it's not my life...it's just...................

Prayers all around...esp for the idiots I have to encounter on the highway this morning...cuz I am in NO MOOD to be my usual sweet, accomodating self this morning....lol....you might want to listen to the news later....

Good Morning Peeps! What a beautiful weekend! We started out Saturday by going to Brenham to pick up some catfish for the pond. We rode with our son so that was good to catch up. Then we went to a wine tour/tasting at Messina Hoff Vineyards Sat. afternoon and went to eat dinner with him and his girlfriend. It was a fun day! Bill really enjoyed the wine thing a lot more than I thought he would. I had done it before with some co-workers a long time ago, but he never had been before.

Sunday morning we slept in. He is getting use to 2 new bi-polar meds and one is just kicking his hiney. He is supposed to build up to taking 2 of the one med per day and he can't stay awake after one. He thought maybe if he took one during the day, he could manage as long as he was up moving around. WRONG! He was out for about three hours, then dozed in the chair another 2 hours and at 10:00 last night he was finally wide-awake! Not sure this is going to work for him, he was already sleeping a lot with the Bi-polar depression and was trying to get out of that cycle! But we did manage to get some stuff done in the yard and actually plowed a little bit of the garden before he nearly fell asleep behind the tiller!

We have both decided to try to concentrate on proteins and veggies and try to cut way back on carbs. He said he felt like he ate enough carbs yesterday for the week!

On Thursday I will have a new grandbaby! Stephanie is due to deliver at noon on Thursday. Miss Annabella Lynn will be my second granddaughter. MiMi is ready to spoil away!!!!!

Hope everyone is set for a great week! I am taking my vitamin now, just ate about 3 bites of a sausage pattie and 4 or 5 bites of scrambled egg. On my first cup of Earl Grey tea! Yummo!!!

I can't tell you about my weekend cuz my fellow co-conspiritors would kill me...just suffice it to say the the girls' weekend in New Braunfels was just what the doctor ordered: Lot's of drinking, eating and talking about the rest of ya'll.  We had a Scentsy sales girl with us and apparently sniffed way too many waxes.  (So if anyone needs to order any let me know and I'll hook you up with our TMB member who's just getting started selling it).

I came home to see that Dr Barker's office had published an article on my success on his website.  They asked me to answer a few questions and they would "doctor it up" and pick and choose what they wanted for the piece.  Well it turns out they printed it exactly like I wrote it...jeesh had I known that I would of put a little more effort into it.  Oh well it's done. http://blog.drwbarker.com/ (if you're interested).

I'm once again waiting on the Direct TV people to come.  I ordered Clay a HD DVR for the upstairs TV and they're coming to install it this morning.  I've also got the usual cooking, cleaning and laundry to keep me out of trouble today.  Woohoo, sounds like fun huh?
