Faithful February Monday
Back in the saddle after an indulgent weekend. The odd part is that I weigh 2 lbs. less than when I started out Thursday...go figure!
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
protein coffee
Atkins or Click shake
salmon sushi roll for lunch
baked tilapia for dinner unless I feel like cooking something else
what's your plan for this last week in February?

Good morning! The weekend was a challenge for me, as well. I worked 8pm-8am shifts Friday and Saturday night-always hard not to want to eat, as a way to stay awake..BUT..I followed my plan!! My pt's mother had cooked me a steak and some veggies, so I worked on that all night-took me both nights to eat it all!
This week's plan may seem "boring", but it works for me. Too much variety just messes me up, I guess. I cooked my 4 chicken breasts at 4:30am this morning (drove my puppies NUTS with the smell)-have them wrapped in their individual containers..have my 4 pk of broccoli/carrots ready. I usually only "go out" for lunch once a week-sometimes not even that-but I know I can make a good choice on the day I don't take lunch (hope I'm as STRONG than, as I SOUND now!)
Today:
B: Click
S: Apple with small amt PB
L: Chicken and veggies
S: Small strawberry greek yogurt (found a 4 pk at WalMart)
D: Strawberry shake with some cottage cheese thrown in
S: SF Jello Chocolate Mousse (another 4 pk deal at WM)
If it's too rainy or busy to walk at lunch I'll have to do treadmill tonight-would rather be outside, but really would like to get over this pneumonia once and for all.

We Can Do Hard Things
My little "precious" box on the floor said 157.4 this morning so I was up about a pound. Not bad considering what I ate and DRANK this weekend. Funny how I was craving protein after just getting off track for 2 days.
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: Leftover grilled chicken and coleslaw
Dinner: Grilled London Broil and salad

I am surprised as well with the scale. Might pop up tomorrow but I am only up 1 pound. And considering i ate non stop yesterday. Seriously never have felt like that and felt I needed to get rid of all the No No's in the house via my mouth. So the candy is out the door today, as is the bags of chips and all the dip. I do have some wonderful protein left and I will be working on that all week.

I so need to up the liquids as well. I did realize that I hadn't taken my ADD meds this weekend and they shut down the appetite. Emm told me the same thing when she didn't have her meds with her. Said she ate all day yesterday. Don't need to be forgetting it anymore.
