National Cherry Pie Day- SAT WLS Express
When : Always February 20th
It's Cherry Pie Day. Cherry pie is America's second most popular pie, behind only apple pie in popularity. However, in the month of February, it's Number 1.
As a young boy, George Washington made the Cherry tree popular, with his famous quote "I can not tell a lie, I chopped down the Cherry tree." We celebrate George Washington's Birthday and President's Day in February. Appropriately, its traditional to bake cherry pies in honor of the occasion.
Being the "hot pie" of the moth, it is only fitting that Cherry Pie Day falls in February. On Cherry Pie Day, celebrate today with a piece of pie.
Gina thanks girl. You are amazing. How is your patient?
Liz- sorry that you have to work-what a MEAN boss you have! lol.

Tracey C-good to see you posting. I enjoy reading about the horses and goats, etc since the closest thing I come to as far as a farm is Farmville!
Poor Bryan had to work hard until 10pm yesterday, come home to a crying panicked wife, go back out to CVS for me and has to get up in a few hours to go back for another LONG day. And to make matters worse I forgot to turn off my alarm which woke him up now 2 mornings the last 2 days-way earlier than he needs. He really should trade me in for a normal non-broken model!!
I personally don't like cherry pie- but saw the holiday and thought it was cute!!
So, I hope everyone jumps on board, eats a piece of pie -SF or not- burns it off in the gym car, and has a great day today!!
woke up at 4 when Tim called to tell me he got a 97 on his latest test - he sounded soooo much better - less stressed. He is so smart but he serousely told me "no I just make good guesses on the test" ummm no dear you a smart man smart @ss too but that 's another story - anyhow endedup going ahead and getting up - finished a blanket I was working on for RAch, and am 3 blocks away from having all the strips done for the teens quilt - then I have to put 4 strips on to what is already done, snip it (it's one of those with the clipped seams that looks frayed) and be done - so IF I get back to it I shoudl be able to fini**** today - if not then I'll get it in the next week or two hopefully -
baking school work gym schoolwoork sewing school work baking school work gym - I see a pattern here - I do believe the next 5 years will be a lot of school :) but I do get some other stuff done.

When I was born, I cried and the world rejoiced. Now i wanna live my life so that when I die, the world cries and I rejoice
I know how lucky I am to have Bryan. He's a wonderful bonus dad and incredible husband. We each have our moments but everyone does. I wish he didn't have to work because I miss him but he rarely has to work on the weekends so it's okay. Hope you get stuff done today!
I've managed to go through some of my kitchen cabinets and put together a full box of stuff to donate to the church garage sale. My goal is to get rid of a bunch of useless stuff that has been moved but not used. So this evening I'm hoping to go through our cedar chest of board games and through the bathroom cabinets. If I can get Jeff to seriously consider reducing his magazine collection I'll be very happy. Not counting on that to happen though.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
Debbi
I hope she is doing well today.
Take it easy and rest when you need to. My first trimester I was EXHAUSTED- even napped at my desk during lunch. But then everything got better and I never felt better or more energized from 12 weeks until the last 2 weeks when I was huge and couldn't move well.
Have fun today!
Good morning all! I'm popping in ,w hile I drink a shake and try to wing down from my"24 hour tour of duty"-not counting driving time. i had not planned to work 8pm-8am last night, after orking my "real job" till 6am, but the night nurse called in sick-anf thee pt was the 46 yr old with cancer that I had last weekend, so, of course, I could NOT sayno! She had a tough night, so I stayed busy and the time passed quickly. If she is still in need tonight, I'm scheduled to go back there-if not, th agency already has me another Denton case lined up. All my cases lately have been an hour's drive away-not bad GOING..but HELL coming back home....yawn....
Hope my peeps are having a great time at BECKY's-can't wait for pics and stories-and the SURPRISE PRESENT that SURELY soeone will bring me!!
Prayers all around-better hit the hay....LOVE LOVE LOVE y'all!!!
