TMB: TMI- need your wisdom!

I had WLS July '07, I never have had this problem so this is uncommon for me!! However, I had a internal hernia repair last Friday, 2/12 and was discharged from the hospital on 2/13. I have not had a bowel movement, other than "runs" on Saturday and Sunday night. I saw Dr. Thompson yesterday with Dr. Barker's office and he said he was not concerned with that since I have been on clear/full liquids. I am not too concerned either, except that I can feel the pressure and I know that I need to go! I will be the HAPPIEST person when I have a bm. I never thought, I would say that... Any wisdom?

That is exactly how I felt right after my bypass surgery.  After being on liquids for so long it took a few weeks to get regular.  I would say if you don't have a regular BM by next week that you call Dr. T and talk with him.  You don't want to keep having diarrhea and take a chance of getting dehydrated so make sure you are drinking alot.
