Good morning Train Riders!  Well you guys know what I'm thankful for, my little gummy bear.  LOL, it is amazing though, how something that little can wear you out completely.  I woke up this morning more tired than I was last night.  Unfortunately today is my office day, so I'm going to attempt to put  on a smiling face and drag my butt through the day.

Yesterday was so exciting and to say my parents are happy would be an incredible understatement.  My SIL is also pregnant and due about 10 days after me, so Mom and Dad are going to be very busy in Oct.  My head is still swirling with so many things to learn, read, and decide on.  I'm a planner (no big surprise there), so if I had my way I'd probably have the kids life figured out through college before they even get here.  LOL, luckily Jeff won't put up with that so he's a very good influence on me.

Prayers going up for everyone.  There are lots of unsaid requests out there.  I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Morning all!  It's a bright and sunny day here in AL!  I just wi**** was a little bit warmer... am really crossingFingers Crossed my fingers for warmer temps!  But at least we'll be above freezing during the day!  All kinds of wonderful news this morning.

My friend Kat has a daughter who donated her old MP3 player to me so I can have some music while I'm sewing down at her shop.  I spent last evening uploading music from my CDs onto it last night.  That was quite a feat for lil ole technology-challenged me.  But I filled that puppy right on up. Great tunes are awaiting me!! WooHoo!  In the many years since MP3 players came out, I never felt the need for one, but I do now and hope that this will do the trick!

Hoping that the rest of the week will be positive for everyone, including myself! I'm in a good mood this morning!  (Helps to have a ton of anti-histamines on board--yesterday's allergy attack was a booger-bear!!!)

Hugs and prayers for all who need them!

Good morning.  I'm home today.  I did something very unusual for me-I "called in" to work.  Yesterday all day my back hurt-not sure if it's a kidney stone or a pulled muscle but I'm leaning towards a muscle.  So last night I took a 2 year old Vicodin and went to bed.  So far this morning it feels better, I'm praying that feeling lasts.  I've got a 4+ hour drive tomorrow to go see friends that I'm NOT missing.

What am I thankful for:  my HEALTH...I've truly had one of the BEST WLS expereinces anyone could ask for.  My FRIENDS...they don't get any better than you guys.  My JOB...I have one of the best jobs in the world.  My FAMILY...not too many people could put up with me and smile the whole time.  It's been a good 26 years.

Still looking for ONE MORE BOOKING for the cruise. If you know anyone that's interested PLEASE have them book by TOMORROW night.

Hey Steph- I have to tell on myself and admit my "blonde moment". When I frist read this I thought you were saying that you weren't missing your friends, so I reread it and decided that what you actually meant was that your not missing the event.... lol

That's hysterical cuz when I just re-read it I thought the same thing!!  One of these days I'll learn to speak English.  You are correct...I'm not missing the EVENT for anything, the friends I miss every single day.

 Hi Alissa,

Today I am most thankful for my WLS, family and friends.     Thankful also that my youngest son ( who has Mono ) isn't sicker than he is.    Prayers for everyone and everyone please keep my family in your prayers.   Still having issues with 24 yr old son.   His GF got out of jail yesterday and I heard it through the grapevine that he plans on leaving my house again and moving into Super 8 !!!  LOL  Like that will last !!!   LOL Oh well.....his life not mine.    Thanks and I love you guys.....my chosen family !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I don't think I've rode the train at all this week.  It's been a busy one and I can't believe it's Thursday already.

Thankful?  I've got lots to be thankful for.  King didn't get any new "hardware" during his heart cath on Monday; he wasn't as whiney as usual, but he had a nice ****tail that had him snoozing for about 20 hours after we got home!  Thankful for my job which has me busy and staying out of trouble.  Thankful for the friends I've made here and those to be made in days, weeks, months, years to come.

Heading to San Mateo next week for some training that needs to take place before we start "real" project work.  It's supposed to be 4 LONG days, so they will probably have us going for 12-14 hours every day.  Not looking forward to the long hours, but it is what it is.  I have a job and it's a good one with a great salary and benefits!

Excited about the cruise and all those that are going.  It is going to be so much fun.  Even King is asking questions and showing signs of excitement.  I'm sure he'll get along great with all the other husbands - if not, we'll throw him overboard and it'll be "bubble bubble, no more trouble!" ... JUST KIDDING   (
maybe).

Need to get busy scrubbing some documents and all that good jazz.

Thankful - that's a good topic for me today, as I've been feeling disconnected and invisible for a while now.  I need to focus on all the blessings I have, which are many!

Here is something I'm thankful for - a few photos of our remodeled bathroom.  It's still not finished, but enough is done so you get the gist of it.
