An update on my mom....

I apologize I haven't been on lately.  Everything at my house is upside down and backwards this last month and 1/2!  My mom had RYN on Jan 12th and many many complications.  She was finally sent home almost three weeks ago on IV antibiotics and TPN.  She has been back to the doctor every Monday since.  She had a stint (sorta of) thing put in and it is suppose to come out Friday.  They will find out then if the hole she has, has healed then (prayerfully it has!!!).  She is finally feeling better to a degree. 

My mom and dad have been living at my house for the last month and if they get to go home before April I would be shocked.  She still has a long road for recovery.  Plus on top of all this I am pregnant! And we are very active in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which starts next weekend.  AGHH!  I just need to make it thru the end of March and I think I will be able to breathe a big sigh of relief!

So if you have some time and can lift my mom up in prayer Friday is a big day/milestone for her (and my dad).  And pray for my dad - he is doing all the home health care for her and I know it is taking a toll on him as well.

 Congrats on your pregancy and Good luck to your Mom and Dad on friday.   Praying that God will heal her quickly so she can get on with living life to the fullest.   I am sorry that this happened to your Mom but I know that she knows that God had a reason for things happening the way that they did.   Praying she gets the stint thingy out on friday.

Another Texan pregnant!! WHOO HOO! When are you due? You make number 5 on this board (Including me- even if I am non surgery!) that we know of!!

Thanks for the update hon.  I'm glad to hear mom is doing better.   Prayers for continued healing for her and understanding and support from the family.
