Hi Nina,

My company policy has it in their  policy.  I am only allowed one WLS surgery in my lifetime.  That is why when I recently had my PS last year, I would not allow them any where near my port.  The surgeon stated but we have performed the surgery before on lapband patients without damaging the band.  I said, but mine would be the first and then what.  I said I would keep the oh so slight upper bulge than to have my band damaged. 

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
