I have found out I like Daily Plate vs. Fitday. Seems DP has more items and is easier to search.

Is that your whole day or just part of it?  I would recommend that you try to get more protein in.  I think it really helps me feel full longer.  I get at least 150 grams per day.

how do you manage to get that much protein?  I average 50-70.. and that is with effort

I'm at 72 already today - I woke up and had a protien shake 23, shared a tortilla 9(low carb/low cal) with melted cheese 18(lowfat ) with a little turkey bacon 4 with my daughter, had a fiber bar for snack 3, and am eating salad with fiber cottage cheese10  in it  - and I am at under 800 cals for breakfast snack and lunch.  Will get at least that much more latter with snack, dinner and snack

I eat a LOT of lean meats - think easy here like 98% fat free trukey  and ham lunch meats
lowfat cheeses of all sorts- worth it to buy already cut or shreaded for me
protien shakes
lean chicken, beef, shrimp or fish  - it is all in what you have in the house - I had hotdogs last night with my kids for dinner - fatfree 40 calories hotdogs that have 5 grams of protien in them - NO they do not taste like ball park hot dogs - they taste OK and I don't dump on them and neither do I blow a half a days caloried and fat on them either

I don't buy fatfree in sourcream or cheeses - in other things I check for what they subbed for the fat - was it protien or was it sugar or what - then I make a choice

protien shakes are a nessasary thing for me - I do 2 a day - no they sure don't taste like a DQ shake but those DQ shakes got me fat and dieing  - these are not bad, better when I have time to put them in coffee or blend with fruit and get and keep me HEALTHY

put up a post asking for ideas on getting protien in - lots of differnt ways - you will get lots of suggestions - you CAN do this - you had surgery to be healthy right?? just gotta figure out what works for you for long term :)

one i do is instant chicken noodle soup - 50 cals add a peice of cooked chicken to it and you just had a decent meal for 150-200 cals and have 15-20 grams of protien

You know I read in Men's health that the nut values in light or ff cheese is not as good as regular. They are saying the regular vits and crap like that in regular cheese is better for you. Who knows.

I have never been a fan of the FF or lowfat foods.  REAL foods with the fewest amounts of fake/chemical additives are better for you.  Aren't we supposed to not absorb all the fats we eat?  Isn't that why we have to take the Dry form of vitamins like D?

My skin and hair are healthier when I eat salad dressings with olive oil.  I know it is more calories, but I feel full longer, too.

Did somebody say C-H-E-E-S-E.......?

This is some farmhouse cheddar we started last weekend and cut up and stored last night - it turned out yummy!   I got my hubbie a cheesemaking kit for Christmas because he is as weird as I am and loves to make all this stuff.  My son asked me.... "is there anything you DON'T make?" LOL  I also have some jalapeno wine fermenting - not a drinking wine - but is supposed to be great for meat marinades and spaghetti sauces.  It has a nylon bag of chopped jalapenso and golden raisins floating in the fermentation bucket and smells interesting.
