Wating to hear from our events manager at the hotel...however, our sales manager thinks it's a great idea, so we'll make it happen if they find the space....keep watching!
Thanks for your patience!

Thanks for this thread. I had written early in the week to try and find out. I have (at this time) two tubs of clothes and will have more before November. I had not heard back from anyone yet. I had also asked how they work since I have never been to one. I have wanted to attend a clothing exchange since I have heard about them.
I works pretty simple and it helps if everybody kind of pitches in when they bring their clothes.
There will be tables set up for different size ranges and types of clothes, depending on how much space we have. When you bring your clothes just lay them out on the correct table - there will be piles of clothes but that is ok. There will be volunteers to help if you just want to dump your stuff off and leave, but help is always appreciated!
You can go through any of them you want and take what you want - no limit. You don't have to bring clothes to take clothes. Anything not claimed after the conference is over will be donated to a local shelter.
Some people brought kid's clothes also since they are going to a shelter anyway. Shoes are welcome, too.
The "good stuff" goes pretty fast and since we drop sizes so quickly some of the clothes are barely worn - I've found some with tags still on them.
