Saturday WLS Express
Good morning family! I'm getting in some coffee, then it's off to the shower/get dressed/journey to work. I'm doing a hospice case today that is 60 miles away, and it may be slippery outside, so I have no idea how long it will actually take me to drive it. I abhor being being late ANYWHERE, but most esp when I am relieving someone else. My patient this weekend is a 46 y/o lady with cervical cancer. I'm told she used to have "the world"..big job...money...then she got sick...lost job..husband divorced her...is down under 70 lbs...I haven't even met her yet and I already love her...sigh...Y'all do me favor: Look in the mirror amd THANK GOD for what you see-just this once-OK? We are so blessed-wrinkles/rolls/warts and all.....
Prayers all around-He who answers knows who needs them...
Hope everyone has a SUPER SATURDAY!!!!!!!

Good Morning Gina and the rest of my TMB Family,
H Gina in case no one has said it this morning I love you! You patinece are so blessed to have someone as loving and caring as you are! Wish you could go to FLorida to be with my Uncle. He is in a long term nursing home. Sad that he wont be going home again! Not to much going on here. Mark is still on call, so we wont be going anywhere. He needs to van if he gets a call. His little sports car just not do well in all this snow. Weatherman is talking more snow for Monday 6-8 inches. Makes me want to cry! Will probably spend some of today watching the Olympics. Need to see if I can find a schedule of what is happening. Ok guess that is all for now. Prayers for all those spoken and unspoken needs. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.
Made it through the week. It was my hell week and thought I was going to have to work today due to no power at our office yesterday. It came on just before 11 and we pulled off the fastest day ever. I am so thankful we do not have to go in today.
The weather has been interesting. No fun to drive in but Bella and Barron are in heaven. Check my FB profile for a video of Liz's kids playing in the snow. They are defiantly snow dogs.
Wanted to do the Billy Bob thing last night but I was wasted when I got home. Saved some $$ for the cruise instead!!! We are going to try RNS this am if the roads will let us drive. Nothing else on the schedule.
Tom has made some pretty awesome doll furniture in his shop this week and his next project is birdhouses. He has got the shop so clean and functional that he is really enjoying be out there. Got him a Dearborn heater to keep warm with and he loves being able to create things. I love that he is healthy enough to want to work!!!
Off for a busy/relaxing day. Hope everyone has a great one!!
Be Kinder than Necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Michelle- I'm sorry you're having so much snow. Its unusual for your area so maybe next winter it won't be as bad. And think about in July when we are sweltering in 100 degree weather and you're a cool 80 degrees. It will pass soon. Are there projects around the house you can do? My folks buy things to do -like putting a border up, or paint for a room and then when they're snowed in they have something to keep them busy.
We'll be heading to RNS soon. I'm moving slowly- Chris and I built a snow robot and played in the snow. I have sore muscles where I didn't even know I had muscles. lol. It was fun though.
Hope everyone has a great day and I hope to see you all this morning!
make some sour cream pound cakes to freeze for the powerlifting meet in Livingston next weekend, clean house, tackle income tax return, yada yada yada. Better get busy. I want to get Ben's quilt back ready so I can take it w/ me to dad's next weekend and quilt some if I'm sitting around.
I really enjoyed my trip to my conference. We had a great time and laughed a lot! That's always good for the soul. I bought Ben a book on how to diagnose someone. If he doesn't have time to read it, I might take it to my dad's next weekend...I have some friends I might need to diagnose. I'm thinking it will come in handy plus I'll need something to read since you can't even talk them into turning on the tv for news. I'll be having TV w/drawals.
Prayers for all who need them. Gina...you are such an inspiring person with your job. that's a sad story for today. You'll be a great person to be with her today.
Have a great Saturday!

You are truly a special lady and very blessed to be able to do the things you do! I'm not going to make R&S this morning cause Ken is sleeping in and he is going to take me on an outing later today! Had one yesterday, about and hour, and it wiped me out! But I slept great!!
Be careful and have a great day!
