Good morning KAREN and all! Sure would love to stay home and play..but...alas..it is not meant to be...

Today is "70's day" at work. Since I graduated from high school in 1975, I'm going to wear a graduation cap/gown, with a sash that says "Class of 1975"...easy/peasy....oh-and I found a 3X5 pic of me from "then" in my ACTUAL cap/gown and I'll pin that on. My school colors were red and black-couldn't get a red gown, but my sister had her black one, from where she graduated from  tech school a couple of months ago, so I scored that one. Tomorrow is "80s day"..maybe I'll wear Madonna boob cones...NOT....

Okay..better get my snow shoes on and face the road idiots-they're REALLY gonna be trippin' today....CRAP....

Good morning Train Riders!  Huge weight lifted off of my shoulders.  We have a new home!  We visited the apartment yesterday and it was as nice as I thought it would be.  Some standard apartment stuff (appliances, etc), but overall the impression was very positive.  We're going to have an apartment on the back side of the complex with a view of the canal/river that runs behind it.  It's going to be beautiful in the spring and summer!  The manager is giving us some upgrades and cut us a deal on the rent so it's within our budget.  God provides yet again!

So, now I'm going to start going through stuff to get rid of.  I'm going to try to donate or throw away anything we haven't used since our last move.  I figure if it's stayed in a box for a year that's a good indication that it's not needed.  Now if I can get Jeff on board and get him to let go of some of the 5 boxes of magazines he's got I'll be very happy.

Took the dogs out for a walk in the snow this morning, and they were not impressed.  LOL, Nigel kept trying to pull us back to the stairs.  I took some pictures too, it was so beautiful when I got up and there hadn't been hardly any cars around yet.  Thank goodness for being able to work from home!

Hope everyone stays warm and safe today!  Be careful if you have to get out on the roads.

Hey You Guys!

Sitting here at work with wide eyed amazment that I am sitting here at work. I can't believe that we actually have school today. It is white out there, and it started sleeting as I was getting closer. My Expedition doesn't have four wheel drive so I may need someone to come get me when we are released. I am hoping for an early releasal at 1, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Hope everyone stays warm and safe!
Love you guys!
