Another Update on Me

I'm still in the hospital. I finally got rid of the NG tube this morning. I'm still on just ice chips, but he's going to let me try clear liquids in the morning. If all goes well I may get to go home tomorrow evening. The upside of having only ice chips for 7 days is that I have lost 11 pounds. Although I don't think I'm interested in doing this again! I'm still really sore and swollen, but I know that will get better with time.

You poor thing, that's a tough way to lose weight. NG tubes are nasty, so sorry you had to have one. Hope you get to go home tomorrow and snuggle in your own bed.

Losing weight that way isn't ideal but to see the scale drops sure makes us appreciate the loss.
