The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday 2/10
It was pretty nice out this morning when I came home from work. I was expecting it to be in the 20s, it was actually 33 when I got home.
Got some good news in the mail today. A couple of years ago my company did away with their retirement plan. I did not realize I still qualified for it because of how long I had been there. Got a notice today that upon reaching the age of 65, I will get $322 a month for the rest of my life. Now I just have to make it that far. But it is not that far away, really.
Just a quick prayer request for all those that are battling any weight gain and are trying to do something about it.
Not much else going on.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

Amanda N. - researching the various WLS available. May God help her to choose which is right for her.
George - prayers for Oleta's mother. Also, prayers for Bob who works for me on the part time job. He has MS and Mantle Cell Lymphoma. He is currently in the VA Hospital.
Gina L. - brother Jerry still suffering. Doctors are now leaning towards the problem being stopped up cardiac areteries. He is very depressed and has chronic back pain also. Gina also requests prayer for her nephew and his family. He lost his wife and the mother of his 2 month son.
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio. They have made the move to the metroplex but still need to sell their house.
Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids. They lost the parental rights to the children, but the decision is under appeal.
Kim (tennysonkw) wants prayer that she will be a better example to her children in the future, and that God will grant me strength to endure, as her and her husband go through their personal problems. Her coworker Tara passed away. Prayers for the children left behind.
MariPW - prayers during a stressful time dealing with her job loss.
Michelle S. - Prayers for her Unlce Paul who is apparently in the final stages of Alzheimers. Also pray for her father, who is Uncle Paul's only surviving sibling. He is having a tough time.
Phyllis - Prayers for her as she is having problems in her life direction. She has contacted some people from her school days on Facebook, but some of the memories have not been pleasant. She is planning to go home to see her father (it's been 15 years) and it coincides with a school reunion.
Vivian - Pray for her during the stressful time she is having with her son and GF moving out in a not so positive manner. She also asks for prayer for Shawn

Last night he was rear-ended while sitting at a stop sign and it totalled his car. Thankfully he is ok or I would be asking for even bigger prayers! The guy took off but one of the witnesses chased him down and got his plates. The cop said it came up with a PO Box when he ran his plates so I am not too hopeful he has insurance.
Anyway, its not just the wreck with him - he lost his job right before Christmas and has run out of money. He is living with me so he isn't going hungry and has a roof over his head, but at this point in his life he has lost his job, his car, has no money and is living in a 10' x 10' room with his Mother. The kid is going through some rough times. His car was paid for and he won't get enough from the insurance company to replace it and he can't afford a car payment so I don't know how far he will have to trade down from his 1995 Toyota *sigh*. And all he was doing was minding his own business sitting at a red light......grrrr......
